IMO, Scorpion probably won't get his revenge anytime soon.

Without the revenge storyline, he has no other purpose to be in MK. So they are making the storyline last as long as possible so that he can remain in MK as they have nothing else for him to do.

In order to make his story better, they need a new twist to it. Let him comcentrate on his revenge, but throw in something else as a side obstacle that he must handle.

I agree. Keep the revenge storyline but add some other stuff and twists.

What kind of twist, I leave to the developers.

I think eventually someone else will get Quan Chi and kill him, leaving Scorpion without anyone to take revenge on, other than the person who took the ability to take revenge from Scorpion.

That could mean Shang Tsung, Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, Frost, Jax, Kano, Raiden or even someone like Nightwolf could end up having a rivalry with Scorpion. In the last MK game, I can see Scorpion finally getting his revenge and putting his soul at rest.

I think Scorpion will get a new reason to be in MK. The revenge thing can only go so far. He is probably my favorite character, but I would like to see something new done with him.

I wrote a story where Scorpion turned his back on the Shirai Ryu and went pure evil, without a soul. Maybe that could work if you want to give Scorpion more of a reason?

It's the purpose that binds the purpose that controlls us so what is Scorpions ultimate goal i mean in DA he died while trying to get to Quan CHI by Dhramin and Moloch so will he get his revenge we'll have to see

Ya he'll kill Quan Chi but it will turn out that ned the janitor killed his family.

Some day I hope that he will. In MK:Deception we see what happens to Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Maybe we'll find out that Quan Chi was under the spell of the Dragon King the whole time or that Scorpion makes a new discovery from his past.

Also he may get his revenge and knowing that he can finally be a peace with himself, Raiden sees this and comes to Scorpion w/a proposal to help Earth's warriors and find his true meaning. Time will tell.

I would like to see Classic Sub-Zero turn up in the Neatherealm and become a spectre. Then him and Scorpion could put their differences aside, by differences I mean that they killed eachother, and team up to take out the Deadly Alliance for what they did to them. Quan Chi killed Scorpions family, and the Oni kept by Shang Tsung defeated him in DA; while, Sub-Zero was killed in Shang Tsung's Mortal Kombat tournament, and Quan Chi let him take the fall by Scorpion. After they have the heads of Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, they can turn on eachother.

I'm sure that a few Mortal Kombats could be made from something like that.
