Edit that, nm I mis-read your first post. I agree, I miss Shao Kahn with the "Excellent", "Superb" stuff. Atleast we still have "Finish Him!" though Edit again! I'm pretty sure at the end of one of the MK:D videos I heard "Outstanding".

Honestly, I couldn't care less if we get the announcer back in the way you say. Just as long as I get the basics (Fatailty, Finish Him, etc) I'll be good.

you know what I would love? If the announcer yelled out the combo.. like in Killer Instinct.. TRIPLE COMBO!! MONSTER COMBOO!! That was plain awesome!! maybe make it in a more Mortal Kombat athmosphere like a 14-hit combo = IMMORTAL COMBOOOOO!! I still play KI just to hear those screams

If you listen to the trailers so far, the Quan Chi announcer voice is in it. Just as he has since MK4.
MK1 voice I would assume it's Shang Tsung
MK 2.3 was Khan.
MK4,5,6 Quan Chi.

I think they should be unlockable, and it should only say that at the end of a difficult combo.

Shao Kahn was the best announcer imo. Quan Chi is ok, but his voice just doesn't top Shao Kahn, plus Shao Kahn said stuff for uppercuts and what not which I liked.

Considering uppercuts are back I think it's only right to have them say something for the uppercuts.

Is it just me, or did you just contradict yourself? You say you don't care which one it is, but then you say you want Shao Kahn. Let's make a decision. As for who is to be chosen, I heard the voice of the person from MK 5, be it Quan or someone else, on the preview, so that's who it will be. We can only hope he will say stuff like "Outstanding" in mid match, but if he didn't I wouldn't be too concerned over it.

I think it's about time they put Quan Chi down.He dosen't have a real scary voice like Kahn had.Maybe I hate the voice because I hate Quan Chi.

I think they should make a new announcer. Maybe the Dragon King? I liked the lady in Tao Feng and the way she said Fight! It sounded cool.

Mid-match comments need to be in there. Also, a TOASTY!!! should be in too.

I don't care if it's the Dragon King, Ashrah, or Kabal, I just want a new voice. But if a new voice isn't in the game, that's okay. A new announcer would be better IMO.

Also, they should make it so that the announcer can say a created name. Like Microsoft Sam, you type something, and Sam says it. MK:D should have that, it would be a cool feature.

Since the first Mortal Kombat game it has been the host of the Mortal Kombat tournament. Shang Tsung was the host and announcer in MK1. Shao Khan was in MK2-MK4.MK4 and MK: DA MK breaks off sort of. In MK4 Shinnok's right hand man Quan Chi was the annoucer. Of course in MK: DA there was not a main boss. Chi and Tsung hosted MK: DA,but once again Quan Chi took announcer duties. From all the MK: Deception video I've downloaded is a clear there is a new voice thats does the announcing. So Dragon King( a new voice) is the announcer for MK: Deception.

I don't care just as long as there's one.

It's IMO way too low! It looks like it hurt him when he talk. The best exemple for this sound his when the announcer says "Tanya" it's sound to much like "Tah-Nyahhhhhrrrr".

MK1 was, for me, the best voice... That kinda french accent in "Sub-Zéro Wins" was great!

YES he will watch one of the fight trailers on IGN like ERMAC vs SINDEL theres 2 Ermac vs Sindel#2 is round 1 and Ermac Vs Sindel #1 is round 2 there backwards lol. The announcer like Round 1 Fight and you can hear other stuff.
