The Dragon King won't be playble, but it was confirmed in an interview that the SUB-boss WILL be playable.

Not as one of the 24 main characters. Almost every Sub-boss in a fighting game is playable, but they must be unlocked. In MKD, if he is playable, it will have to be via secrets.

Neither me or you know that because sub-bosses were never playable in previous MK games (excluding Trilogy).

But he will most likely be unlocked in one way or another.

I hope that there is a special way to play as him, but not for online mode.

The Dragon King could be like Goro in MK4. He could be a hidden character that can't be used online. The sub boss could be not as cheap as Moloch. He shouldn't be because it was Hell fighting Moloch.

I certainly hope the Dragon King isn't playable, it takes the mystifing aura away from him as a character and he'd be too powerful for the battles to be any fun. I prefer it if he is just the guy who beats your ass at the end of the game and not someone you get to manipulate, it would really kill part of the whole experience... for me at least.

For the sake of online play and cheaters, I hope not. I know the sub-boss is said to be playable, now I hope there is something to stop people from using him, her,or it online. Of course the sub-boss when playable will have the normal double damage hit.
