Will the Dragon King have a (real) name ?

This is just my opinion , but I hate how the boss in MK:D is just called Dragon King so far. Thats sort of like calling Sub-Zero "Lin Kuei Grandmaster". The term Dragon King sounds too plain , simple and boring. It just doesn't fit MK. Am I the only one feeling this ? Thoughts , name suggestions..... ?

I don't see anything wring with the name.It fits perfectly in MK.I love the name and I hope they don't change it.

I hope that will be his name.I guess I dont look at as plain.But Im sure with his story he will a name before he got this title.But I could be wrong.Maybe its not a title but more of a symbolic name.Thus something or someone evolving
to become Dragon King.Long Live Johnny Cage.

Jerrod is Kitana's father. He was the king of EDENIA. As we know The Dragon King ruled OUTWORLD before Kahn. So, Jerrod cannot be the DK.
BTW, it is believed Jerrod was a noble and peaceful King. On the other hand the DK was usurper.

or

ZODIAE-EXODUS

Don't ask why but I feel that the D-K would sound cool with those names, its just my opinion but u guys probably think those names suck major dragon dick!

I think the Dragon king is an awesome name, but if they did change it, It should be asian-sounding, and translating into something meaningful.

Ex:
Raiden is Japanese for Thunder
Fujin means wind or something similar.
The japanese word for Dragon King is Ryujin, which sounds pretty cool as well.

well the Dragon King that we face in this game I believe is reptile taken over by the dragon king's spirit. But I do think that the original Dragon King should have a name, its not like he was born and his mother named him the Dragon King. All and all its really irrelevant what his real name is as far as the plot goes. He's here and he's gunna f*&( somebody up.

I'm no expert, but I think that in chinese mythology,
there are several Dragon Kings and they all have
different names...
So maybe in the world of MK, they only have one
Dragon king and thus, they need only one name for
him: The Dragon King.

No, there is going to be a martial artist named Ben, that's the reason for the Ken rumor. I just came up with Ryujin, because Ryu=Dragon, Jin=King.

I'm going with Ryujin here, it sounds perfect! "The Dragon King" sounds lame and meaningless. Though I guess it would sound just as bad to Japan if he were to be called Ryujin. At first I was thinking somewhere along the lines of Dragon Devil in japanese then realized that would be called Ryuakuma and that's grounds for a lawsuit from Capcom. But yeah Ryujin would be my choice and the best one thus far.
