I think he'll lose but be back in MK7, like Shao Kahn was. Honestly though, having the DA win was stupid. Your telling me the earth warriors could defeat Shang and Goror, Shao Kahn, the extermination squads and Shao Kahn again, a fallen elder god, and in the end wind up losing to Quan Chi? That's rediculous.

Yeah... I really don't agree with the whole Raiden killed himself for nothing bullshit. Onaga can't be that badass. I mean Geez Louize. It pisses me off.
If Raiden couldn't beat the Dragon King WITH Shang or Chi Chi boy, then how the hell are you supposed to choose a character and beat him at the end?

The only person who defeated Goro, Shang Tsung & Shao Kahn was Liu Kang. Without him characters like Kung Lao, Sonya Blade & Kitana fell. Raiden killed Kintaro, and attempted to do the same to Onaga but he was too strong.
You have to remember that there's that Kamidogu (I think) which might give him strength. If that is destroyed, Onaga becomes weaker, and closer to death. That is how he is defeated in Arcade Mode.
I think, storyline wise, Shujinko will fight and lose to Onaga, and the fight for the realms will be taken into Earthrealm (like MK3). Or maybe Seido? I could see some kind of breach in the realms thing happening too. I just can't see this being the only showing of Onaga.

Onaga will live this game. Its obvious.
he will return in Mk7 to attack earth.
UNLESS they bring back an ancient MORE evil ruler, maybe even the TRUE Dragon King.

I don't think the ending mentioned in the spoiler means anything... there's no reason that we know of (yet) why he can't return for MK7.
My reasoning for this is simple. It didn't matter who you completed MK2 as, Shao Kahn always exploded at the end. Miraculously, he was back in MK3, but the same applied here. Every victory over him caused him to explode (this time with a cool green soul effect). Since he appears to have exploded twice already, I was amazed when he was alive and well in the beginning of MKDA...
Of course, it may be different here.
