Will the PAL version of MKDA be better or different?

No extras as that wouldn't be fair.
Fixed glitches however, yes.

Well, about fair, we can also talk about how you got the mo-fo-ing game 3 months before us, now can't we?
Well, IMO, aside from glitch/bugs corrections and a possible 60Hz Mode, I'd say the game WILL be better since I will be able to play it!!!

Who me? Im in England. I didn't get it three months before anyone.

If anything, the PAL version will not be as good as the N. American version. The reason being the crappy method PAL displays graphics, thus causing framerates and video to be slower.
that depends on how thorough their conversion method is, for instance Capcom are damn lazy with PAL conversions, but Midway may have put in a genuine effort. Considering the amount of time its been since MKDA was released in america, and how commited ED Boon is to MKDA, it could be a damn good conversion!

You didn't do your homework buddy!
It's a main fact that good pal conversions look better than Ntsc versions.
Because Pal uses more screen lines on 50 Hz, while ntsc uses less screen lines on 60 hz.
And some ntsc versions have an interlaced look, which never happens on pal versions.
But on the other side, and maybe the most importend part is that Ntsc 60 Hz is much faster than Pal 50 Hz. So the Ntsc version of mortal kombat5 is faster. And i prefer speed over graphics! So i'm hoping for a 50/60 Hz option in the pal ps2 verion of mk5 and then we have the same speed as you! Combine that with gameplay tweaks, fixed glitches, and maybe some extra's and we have the superior version of mk5.

Just fixed errors and glitches...THATS ALL THE PAL VERSIONS ARE GETTING...so why doesn't everyone just shut up and move on GEES
And a 60 hz mode, so our three main weapons are:
lol j/k it kinda reminded me of monty python in here.
Pal games are supplied with a 60hz mode actually,
without this they look worse but they don't loom crappy.
An why cant we just get along people?
Were not that sad that we actually start a war because 2 guys think the bleeding FRAMERATE is crappy on eachothers system?
Really does it matter?
Just saying our framerates are crap pshhh
In a minute someones gonna say americans are better cause europeans have funny accents..sheesh

According to a rumour I heard @ work, there are supposed to be soem extra "secrets" that they didn't manage to put into the NTSC version.
Whether or not this is true, is another matter, though.
Also, on the PAL site, it claims they have ripped clothing in this version. Reckon that's true?

And if they do add a bunch of secrets and extras like ripped colthing and such as...I will never buy another MK game. I'm sick of this crap...First it's Mortal Kombat 3, then Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, then Mortal Kombat Trilogy...It's getting out of hand...Trilogy wasn't all that different from Ultimate...

THE PAL VERSIONS ARE NOT GETTING ANYTHING DIFFERENT OTHER THEN GLITCHED FREE GAMES...are people that dumb?

Nothing to do with it, this is just a PAL conversion.
Trilogy WAS UMK3 for the next-grn systems.
If you want to make a point there, use MKGold.
I'll be getting the PAL GC version tomorrow, so I'll let you all know what it's like.

I just got my copy of mkda this morning and i have to say that it is very good. Though i have seen very few of it (just a few fatalities, i was eager to see them ;) ) i must admit that in terms of graphics, the game looks great! Also it includes the 50/60hz option, so in case your TV stands 60hz, you will be able to play it full speed! So, let mortal kombat begin (at least for me xD)
Well, let's get one thing straight:
PAL itself only means one thing: it has MORE lines that the NTSC system (hence the ocasional top and bottom bars, that compensate those missing lines). That is the only thing attached to the PAL system. And btw, more lines doesn't mean worse graphics, it means BETTER, due to a higher definition!
Then we have the 50Hz system and the 60Hz one. That basically means that the TV will refresh the screen 60 times every second.
The frame rate the game uses is STILL the same (a 60fps frame rate is still processed by the PS2), wether it is 60Hz or 50Hz, the thing is that the spee the game itself runs is better or worse, i.e. the framerate(which determines how fluid the graphics look) doesnt't change, only the game's speed (aka, the speed the characters and objects themselves move). THAT is in fact the biggest difficulty about games.
Although, I would also like to state one thing: probably by seeing that the European market is growing (it's almost the same size as the American or the Japanese, I don't remember which), every company is already improving their conversions (even Capcom), and including a 60Hz mode. So, and considering that there are usually no bars both on top and bottom of the screen, nowadays, we are actually getting BETTER games than you guys (or have a bigger potential for them, at least), due to the better screen resolution. And since they tend to change the game a little, increasing the lines, we usually do get them.

The PAL version won't have anything special, but after its release we will know the final secret.

Sutnik7 is correct!
We know this will be hard from some NTSC users to accept, but since they get the game earlier that would make up for our waiting. Simple really.
I have never understood why movies and games never have a "world release" and it'll stop some of these arguments anyway. I heared the upcoming films of the Matrix are having a "world release", whether that's true or not, I know not.
Speaking of which I never understand why America got to see Lord Of The Rings first since it's an English story, oh well that's life...

Did anyone know if the making of video is in the PAL version?
If not, means that all mk2 related bonuses are also being cut?
