Sorry if this has already been discussed (I didn't feel like going through the 101 pages of postings to find it) but will there be an MKA strategy guide? If so, will it be coming out at the same time the game does? Thanks.

I think there will be a strategy guide. I will possibly buy it. Because this will be so good game I might spend about 80 euros to this. If the collector's edition costs about 70€ + postage, strategy guide costs about 22€ + postage = more than 100 euros! Argghh! Euros are more valuable than dollars so I might spend about 130 dollars here in Finland for Mortal Kombat:Armageddon. That's why I ask so much from that game because I will spend so much money for it.

^ That really sucks. In America, I'm getting the Collector's edition (for xbox..hopefully) and the strategy guide. That should total around 70 dollars, so you have to pay nearly double! You must be a diehard fan.

Yes there will be a strategy guide for MKA ($16.99 US / 22.95 CAN). It includes:
1. Moves for all fighting styles, weapons, and finishing moves for all playable characters.
2. Detailed maps expose all traps and danger zones.
3. Detailed walkthroughs help you master all "Breaker" and "Parry" technique.
3. All secrets and unlockables revealed.
4. Tips and tricks to help you make the most of the new Create-A-Fighter feature.
5. A pull out poster listing all of the characters moves and finishing moves.
Peace Out
**EDIT** the site also states that it will be released Oct. 3rd

I dont understand why you are wasting so much money on a strategy guide.
Everything is online in like two days now, theres nothing a guide will tell you that you wont find here in the forums.

But if the Game is coming out October 9th and the Strategy guid comes out before the game comes out that is a good way to get an idea of the game. yet I already pre-ordered it.

The guides are also cool because of the art and stuff . . . yeah you can get most (if not all) of the info online, but the book is a neat collector's item. I see someone preordered it . . . where did you pre order it from and what is the release date for the guide?

It's a tossup for me, the Deception guide was a complete waqste of money, had nothing in it. only a select few fatalities etc. If that info is true and they wised up, i wil probably buy it, but like i sadi, if its anything like the MKD one I will not bother.

I thought the MKD Guide was also bad but the MKA one is going to be more useful because between double and triple the amount of characters. More stuff to learn. And more artwork. Which means more collector items. YEAH!

if an MKA fuide were to be released, to maximize sales, it would have to include:
-all Bio's and Alt Bio's
-locations of all unlockable content
-listings of all different ways to unlock things
-a full list of FATALITY directions and enders
-full move listings.
-full konques walkthrough complete with side mission check list.
-some KAK content and directions on how to create certain desired chars like (human reptile, human smoke, tremor, mk2 shang etc...)
-and maybe directions to duplicate fighting styles for KAK
-info on THE VAULT.
-arena information, backround, origin, and deathtrap info.
