MKD better be damn good its the last mk on ps2 and xbox.Its all about money these days every system last 5 years or 6 until the new one comes out.

i agree. but the chances of MK7 being on the ps2 are very slim. they want to have much better grafics that wont be able to be on the ps2

im getting fed up of these companies making a bloody system and then bringing out another one like that ! for crying out loud lol i aint gona by mk7 on a new system they better realese it on ps2 and xbox im not forking out anymore money on game consols im getting board of computer games really anyway lol the only game i play is MK:DA lol and deception might be the last game i play

Sucks to be you then, because it won't be coming out for the PS2 or Xbox.

Besides, its two or three years away. Everyone will probably have a new system by then.

I really hope Mk7 makes it for PS2.

If I could, I would buy the PS3, but the money comes from my dad’s pocket, and we wont waste another 250 dollars on a stupid console, even less if its 500+!

Wanderer's right, just because they announced they are making the game, it's not going to be ready at launch time of the new consoles. It's and entirely new developer kit for the new consoles, so it will definitely increase the amount of time they need to complete MK7. By the time its ready PS3 and Xbox Next will have probably been out for awhile and you will have already shelved your PS2 and xbox.

The MK7 will be far better, and of course I will already have given the maximum yield of my PS2, reason why there will be no problem in buying the PS3(or X-Box 2). I bought recently a Game Cube by 99€(similar price in dollares), and for when the Nintendo Revolutions leaves on sale, I will already have have given the maximum yield too.

I don't have problems in paying (in 2006) around 500€ by a new console, since I gain a pay and I will have money to do it. Within 2 years, most of this forum it will be able (so that or they work or they will work in the future), and those that not yet esten with age to work, which they are saving after buying the MKDeception...

think its garbage. release mk 7 on ps2 not ps3. there gona loose sales that way anywayz cuz no1s dumb enuf to buy a ps3 just for mk7. i prolly get ps3 only!!! if u can play ps2 games on it.

PS3 and Xbox2 won't go out before a long time, same thing for MK7, thus if we begin all to save money now, we shall be almost all measures it to buy a PS3 or a Xbox2...

That is just stupid. People are going to have a Ps3 or Xbox Next before MK7 even comes out. People will have bought those systems cause most people advance with the time.

It will not be a bad business move. MK will be so much bigger and better on Ps3 and Xbox Next.

As far as I'm concerned MK7 being on the next gen consoles is a good thing. The MK Team will have plenty of time to produce a great MK game and the technology to do more thing snad add more stuff to MK than ever before. It might mean spending more money, but it'll probably be worth it in the end.

Actually PS3 games will not work on PS2. PS3 will be using the new Blu Ray media devoleped by Sony. While its similiar media to DVD it cannot be played on a DVD player, you need a special player. They are actually trying to market it as a DVD replacement. It's a lil too soon for that if you ask me. It's only advantage is it's massive storage capacity. up to a 100 gigs on a dual layered disk. back to the point - if they put MK7 on PS3, it will only be playable on PS3. Dunno much about the Xbox next yet.

A good savings plan can go a long way. You have plenty of time to save up if you really want the next gen system. Summer jobs are always helpful, along with birthdays and other holidays that mean money. You can sell your body for quick money, but it's not recommended. Got that kids???

MK7 developed for the next gen systems would be wise. They would have plenty of development time and just imagine how awesome it would look. PS2 and xbox have just about reached their technical limits. The MK fanchise is capable of so much more and needs to be developed on the best "canvas" possible. In the meantime, another Mythology game or MK spinoff would be a good idea to put on PS2 and xbox.

MK7 will probably not be for PS2, or Xbox. But they did say they will be using PS3 and Xbox2 dev kits within the next year to create it. If they make it right, it won't matter who has the systems or not, it will already be a gem available on the systems for purchase, thus when everyone decides to catch up with technology, MK7 is there waiting.

Or they'll put off MK7 until PS3 and Xbox2 are almost in their 2nd generation of games, which won't be for a long ass time.

I would rejoice if MK7 were a launch title for PS3 and Xbox2.
