With 3 classic characters left, what are the chances of a robotic smoke making it into the game?

Human smoke is a bad idea, we need a cool looking robot, so with only 3 spots left for classic characters, what are his chances?

I think we might see only 1 robot. Maybe Cyrax.

How about a Robotic Smoke that can convert his look/tranform into human smoke. Like a transformer.

The robotic version would be the weapon.

It has been 9 bloody years since Smoke has been in a game. And there's every reason for him to return in MK:D. They're bringing back the classic characters, And he has deep ties to Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei, He'd be the greatest help in the world to Sub-Zero right now with the threat of the Red Dragon and the Tekunin, Not to mention the Dragon King and his army. I'd like to think that Smoke has a huge chance.

Smoke NEEDS to return, For crying out loud! I want him back so bad. Imagine a blue version of Cyrax from MK:DA with gray smoke coming from his body like the baby-blue frost came from Sub-Zero's arms. His three-pronged harpoon shooting at you from his chest. Maybe Cyrax's giant saw, And Invisibility. Very cool!

There's a decent chance Cyber-Smoke may be back. One of the posters with "inside sources" left a chain of clues suggesting either Cyber-Smoke or Sektor will be in the game in a previous post. It depends on if Mavado is showing up. If he does Sektor won't and Smoke will. This is not based on any offical evidence though.

Who sais smoke has to come back being a full cyborg? The way i see it, theres also a chance he could come back being FULL human, or half and half. Personally, i would want him returning being full human or half human half cyborg.

I'm not sure about his chances of returning, i greatly hope he returns, perhaps as a secret character to unlock. I was suprised to hear kabal returning, so smoke should be an acception. The last cyborg may be cyrax or sektor, but remember, one couldnt fully anticipate that smoke is full cyborg, cause no one knows for sure yet.

smoke altogether has the least storyline, the only story of him i know of is that he was best friends with good subbie, and then a clan he was in started transforming them into cyborgs, and he was one of them and that angered subbie.. so i really doubt he is in deception, and if he is, make him a cyborg, and for alt costume the classical smoke

personally i think the whole robotic ninja concept has gone down the toilet. If smoke is in the game has has to get his old body and soul back then smoke would kick some ass!
My vote is for Sektor.

Me, Outworld222, Murdoink, Jerrod, and many others have been keeping our eyes out for Smoke pretty much since the announcement of MKD. And if I had not seen Ermac and Noob Saibot return, I would have probably said there wasn't a snowball's chance in hell he was ever going to be back.

But look at the characters so far. What theme do we have going with the current cast? To me, it seems like all the obscure and left-out characters are being revived, not only to satisfy numerous fan-bases, but also because they want this to be a fresh sequel. If every MK game had the same seven or eight guaranteed warriors and bosses, what exactly is being accomplished. It's obvious they want to cover new ground for this game. I guess this is there way of saying "We can make a kickass MK, and we don't need Kung lao, Sonya, or Reptile to do it."

So yeah, I don't think we've seen the last of Smoke.

Jax, Kung Lao and Cyrax should be the 3 remaining.

They would be under the "Returning" list, And Li Mei has probably taken one of those spaces. Smoke would be under "Classic".

Smoke really did nothing for me. He always screamed filler. A lot of people like him, but what good does that do for the story? Personally, I think that Sektor and Cyrax had much better storylines and special moves. I would rather see those two return.
