I don't want to come off as pompus. I think what has been discussed in all the magazine spreads is valuable. But I just don't understand why a multiple page preview of a game can't say anything about the revised engine other than that it "expands on Deadly Alliance". This isn't a shot at the MK team so much as criticism of the magazines themselves. If they're going to report on something and only say "expanded" then they should give at least one example of that expansion. We all know that they're keeping the three fighting styles so what about them is different? "Tweaked movesets" doesn't exactly say anything. Is the physics engine reworked so that juggles work better? Throw system revamped? Ok, I know that the mainstream audience cares more about stage weapons and death traps and despite my rant, no there's nothing wrong with that. I just wish they wouldn't mention something and then pretend that it's not something worth reporting on after it's already been said.

NO but seriously,........seriously........no seriously.....seriously.....I agree with you

I hope the kombat has been sped up just a little. DA seemed just a little too sluggish. I am excited about the color coded practice mode and whatnot, and it sounds like it could help you better understand when to initiate moves and throws.
