Well, my suggestion is... try to rent.

If you are a hardcore fighting game fan, specially Mortal Kombat and like only to fight and master ever character of a game, this game is for you

But if you like other things to do, this game dont have any replay value, in terms of unlocking things, just 2 boss after you finish story mode.

Well, there is little blood, some fatalities are stupid (t rated game), but mk characters receive those classic special moves that made them famous.

buy it, man it rocks, wont get boring and if u got online thats better, if u got online and like fighting games i say buy it, i got it and its really fun, espesially online

If you can't play online, I would just rent it. Besides the story mode, arcade, and kombo challenges, there isn't much to do.

Yeah, the game has absolutely no replay value if you don't have online.

online is good, even that gets dull after a while, rent it, you'll most likely be bored with it before its due back, save yourself 50 bucks!

Ask yourself these three questions:

1. Do I love fighting games?
2. Do I love Mortal Kombat?
3. Do I love DC comics?

If you said no to any one or combination of these questions then do the game and yourself a favor and rent it first. That being said, it really is a wonderful game. Ed Boon and his team did a fantastic job.
