Worst Characters That Returned

These are characters that were awesome in previous mk games but went to suckish in armageddon. my list would be...

Dhramin- He had great original fighting styles in MKDA (Neatherealm, Oni), but they got rid of that and gave him something that didn't suit him at all. Blus they got rid of his Iron Club, which was Dhramins key feature.

Stryker - I could understang giving him a new Squad like costume, but why couldn't they keep the original costume of his, thats the Stryker we all fell in love with. Not some guy in leather and sunglasses.

Motaro - Pretty obvious, NO 4 LEGS, but thats not the only dissapoitment. His moves were smoother in Trilogy, plus the story line that tried to make his 2 leg transformation make sense, made it even more confusing. They said his Cenotaur race was transformed into Minotaur race. Last i checked, he looked alot more like a Saytre then a Minotaur.

Onaga, Moloch and Blaze - You would never see characters like these in a decent fighting game (Well atleast not playable). Beside the fact that they have the exact same attacks (not counting the special moves), they were given the same speed and agility as the normal characters. You should never be allowed to play as boss battles (or atleast the big ones).

thats all i can think of.

Keep in mind that this an opinion so dont go all crazy and go "WHAT ARE YOU TALKIN ABOUT, PLAYING AS BLAZE IS AWESOME" or whatever.

Yeah! I totally agree with everything u say especially the motaro bit. Although I'm not particularly bothered about how Stryker looks

I agree about Drahmin's fighting styles.

About Stryker, I think his alternate should've most definitly been the apparel he wore in MK3. I don't know what Boon and the rest were thinking when giving him that sorry excuse of clothing as his alternate.

worst characters would be...


stryker-he is 2 regular 4 mk has no special powers makes him pretty boring

blaze- i thought he was fine as small blaze but now he just does same cheap moves over and over 2 win

Drahmin- i could only wonder what midway was thinking when they first put drahmin into mk storyline. i mean what the hell! he has crappy specials and doesnt even look like anything mk like! he was probably designed just as a punching bagfor players 2 practice on

sheeva-not really much 2 say bout sheva.to me four arms dont fit on anyting other then a boss, i think shes in between a boss and normal character theres really no way 2 tell! anyway her attacks r slow and not powerful. combos suck and all she does in mk3 is die not much of a character!

moloch- always hated moloch. he is as pointless as drahmin and as retarded 2 like blaze he only does same 2 moves over and over

this is only an opinion and if any of these characters you like please dont take it personally.

Stryker being from earthrealm and not using all these projectiles etc.. Is what i loved about him. He wasn't made to be some surreal being like some of the human type characters. He actually used real life stuff used by police & ops.

Stryker is still my all time fav.

haha you guys just want to repeat moves after moves thats why they gave different moves so people like you guys dont repeat shit after shit it sucks when you cant get up and you keep doing fag combos or same move.so thats why its like that i have no problem with any of the characters just keep it orignal and lots of gore and your on your way they should do the same to soul caliber and others like MDK is only series with gore hmm any others you guys suggest thats on XBOX.smilewinksmilewowwow

I really don't see the problem with Stryker. He is pretty normal but so are we. But I think Ed contradicts himself, Ed Boon himself once said "Normal is boring, no one wants to see normal." In the MK history video seen in MK:DA. And yet he had put a normal character in the games that he had made. Oh and here is my list of Worst characters who returned:

Shao Kahn(seriously they dumbed him down, where's the big boss who kicked all our butts back in the day?)
Mavado
Meat
Mileena
Sareena
Nitara
Drahmin
Reptile
Robot Smoke(and that alternate costume for a ninja smoke don't cut it)
Hsu Hao
Dead Liu Kang(why kill him off midway? He was perfect alive.)
Khameleon(we already had Chameleon what was the point?)
Kai and Jarek(I didnt know either of these two guys until MK:A)
everyone else on my list just sucked.

Stryker is a powerful character and he's original. Now that I've met some of his fans and heard their opinion about him he actually seems quite a bit better. NEW LIST...

Drahmin was cool in both MKDA and MKA. Eventhough he lost his Ironclub style, he still used his Ironclub in his specials. He's one of my fave's, but not an overall fave.

I did like Stryker more in his MK3 costume. Totally disliked his MKA costume's.

Motaro.... I agree with everyone who mentioned him.

Reptile- I liked him in MK2-MKT the most. In MK4 & MKDA he fell out of my liking. In MKA, he was just ok but better.

Jax- In MK2 he was at his best, but in MK3 & 4 he was just ok and MKDA/MKA he sucked!
