Would anyone like a "Gladius" style mini-game in a future MK?

Ok, right off the bat it's turn based but it's a lot more fun than you'd think.
I will apply Gladius principles to the MK universe here.
Every single MK Warrior that has ever been and ever will be would be in this game, including bosses.
There would be 3 main teams based of good, evil and neutral. Most battles would involve good v evil, good v neutral, evil v neutral or all 3 against each other! On top of this there can be evil v evil, for example Red Dragon V Black Dragon. Realms could fight each other for example Earth Realm V Outworld. Humans V Non-Human. What I am saying is that although there are the 3 main good, evil and neutral it is not only limited to that.
For those that have never played Gladius these teams play in many, many arenas in all kinds of weird and wonderful scenarios. Apply the MK world and again we have multitudes of arenas that could for the main part, stay as they are now.
An individual Warrior is categorised as Heavy, Medium or Light. Apply this to the MK World and Boss character plus a few more thrown in like Sheeva and Jax would be in the heavy class. Mediums would mainly be the men, the Sub-Zeros and Scorpions etc. The majority of lights in my opinion would be women such as Kitana, Sonya but characters like Kai could fall into light class also so it won't all be gender specific.
These classes are very important and the rock/paper/scissors principle applies here. The heavies have advantage over the mediums, the mediums advantage over the lights and the lights have an advantage over the heavies. This is where careful choice of teams and positional placement become very important.
Complicating things even more is height advantage in the arena. For example a Medium warrior is standing on the railway stage platform (from MK3), facing off against a heavy on the tracks themselves (obviously lower ground). The usual advantage for the heavy is gone as the medium is above him.
Ok if anyone is still following each character posesses their usual special moves and they use a combination of these moves and general fighting to try and beat their opponent. When their opponent is near death they can of course perform a fatality. Certain moves use up more energy than others and therefore they may only be able to perform a single strike the next go after a combo move or big special. Certain characters are more agile and can move further than others. Those that can't move as far may have other advanatges to make up for this like extra strength or HP (hit points which is the lifebar).
It's all too complicated to explain here any fuller and it could be made big enough (by throwing in building up of characters, upgraded weapons and the like) to make a new spinoff standalone game but I promise you it would rock your MK world either way!

Disagreeing is fine but MK Chess is from another game, MK puzzle fighter is from another game as well.
Hell I am pretty sure there is more than one fighting game on the market. Are we only allowed to like the one game in every genre?
cheers
PS - This wouldn't be the same anyway. For example the game Gladius does not have fatalities. I was merely talking about it's general structure which would be the same (like MK Chess and MK Puzzle-fighter compared to games they are based on). Try and look beyond the square!

if you look at some of the Deadly Alliance concepts there was one for a basketball court minigame haha. now that would be classic mk basketball...i was thinkin taht they could put a football minigame in it and you chose your linebackers and qb and stuff haha.

Yes! That would be a great idea! I to like gladius alot, and love there gameplay system. I think that would be a better minigame than the one in deception, but i am not sure because i have not played them yet
