I think that many of the characters from MKDA might be in prison and SOME of them might be playable. However if all of them are playable then the prison will be EMPTY after we unlock them.... so it would look very stupid to play in the prison stage without prisoners. so I don't think that all of them are playable.

My guess is he is a certainty for MK7 but will sit this 1 out.

I have a theory about the people in the cells. Seeing Stryker and Reiko in there almost confirms it.

The people in the cells are MK characters we will never, ever see again. They will not be back in future games, period.

i guess every mk character in histoy will be in the game some way or another. am surpized shevva was not in the jail, never liked her.

some might be unlockable. since the stages are interactive maybe if you get too close to a wall the prisoner will perform one of their signature mooves on you. like jade would poke her staff at you or stryker might throw out gernades. i do agree that stryker would be pretty cool if they gave him some decent fighting styles. maybe some Akido and Karate would do it. lose the gun and gernades and keep the nightstick and he would deal out some police brutality. as for unlocking them it would be really cool since all the stages are interactive To just smash your oppent into one of the cells. the character in the cell would then perform the fatality on them and thus you would see the prison stage fatality plus get a bonus warrior. just a thought.

I think some of them will be unlockable, as we've seen Jade was in there and is now playable. I also think that every character from MK will an appearance in the abckground somewhere, so it might be random as to who pops up where and when.

I really hope some of them will be unlockable, especially Kitana..how can we not have her when we have Sindel, Tanya and MIleena.
I also hope Fujin will be playable too, I really liked him in MK4.

And as for saying that none of them will be returning as they dont have updated costimes, well look at Jade. It was clear from her boots in early screenshots that had her MK:Trilogy outfit, but now she's all new looking.

I think the prisoners are there for show orr maybe characters that didn't make the cut as before.

But they could also be a death trap if you get to close to their cell then they will reach out and grab you and the DK will say go free an everyone will get out their cells and beat the victim til they are dead.

dude, think about what you said a bit. Normally, when people are emprisioned, they have their weapons taken away from them.

I think they won't be playable, but it's kinda stupid seeing, drahmin in a decent 3d, then fujin and jarek in a crappy 3d and then stryker in 2d, they could've done a little refreshment on their looks...

I like a couple of ideas there.

All Prisoners coming out and bashing the victim to death would be hilarious (even if I can't see how they'll get it to work properly, the idea is still sound)

The other being knocked into a cell where the Prisoner there performs one of their classic fatalities on you! Good stuff!
