I think it's a good idea, but it wouldn't work. I couldn't work because everyone is so attached to the Earth vs. Outworld storyline. MK:D should have been the transition to continue on with a traditional Mortal Kombat tourament.

True, but maybe a threat from a completely new realm will be kind of a revitalization for MK. You know? We are all so used to Outworld being the main baddys, but just think of the character and story possibilities if Earth comes under threat from a completely new realm.. I really like this idea.

This is not a bad idea.
I would like it to be where at the begining fmv many old and new MK people would die (maybe about 10) and Earth will have to find some new people with different attributes............
You've gotten me worked up, I'm brainstormin' with ideas.

Well, truth be told, all the other realms are pretty much redundant with species. I mean, everyone from every realm looks the same.

The Vampire Realm (Nitara and her race)
The Netherealm (Drahmin, Moloch, Scorpion, others)
Zaterra (Reptile and his race)

The truth is, Outworld is all of these realms. Zaterra, Edenia, the Vampire Realm, etc. are all realms that combined into one are Outworld. Outworld is the empire of all the realms that Shao Kahn has enslaved.

If Earth were to have a challenge from another realm, it's be boring. Imagine it. EARTH VS. ZATERRA! 6 human characters, and 12 RAPTORS!

C'mon, where's the fun in that?

Outworld are the main baddies because, with all of those realms combined, the characters are limitless!

Zaterra is a died realm, because only it is left alive Reptile (and Khameleon I am not safe).

Outworld is an own realms, that soon conquered other realm like Zaterra and Edenia.

The Zaterrans come from the Earthrealm, from which they fled during the war between Raiden and Shinnok does thousands of years.

Another Realm? First I would like to know "Orderrealm" and "Chaosrealm".

Well, take out 'realm' from both of their names, and you got "Order" and "Chaos."

Somehow, these two realms have got to be at war or something!

I think it's a good idea...I just don't know if it'll hold up with everyone...Maybe a triple threat type of deal?

That's what i was thinkin, cus outworld looks like it has no power anymore - maybe the remaining outworlders would team up w/ this new realm to take over Earthrealm.

Earth Vs. The Outworld IS Mortal Kombat. There always seems to be other realms involved in some shape or form (Netherealm, Zaterra) so all is well. It would be cool to perhaps LEARN OF more realms. But the battle will always be Earth and the Outworld.
