Fine by me. I liked the new engine used in Deadly Alliance a lot.

Yep, although I assume it will be enhaced further to look better. Thing is, if they wanted to make a new engine for the game, that'd put at least another 2 years towards MK6 development and it might end up being not looking as well as it could on the current gen consoles.

I like the fighting engine... one thing I would like to see is the implementation of various throws depending on what side of the opponent your on.. sorta like VF and SC.

I would actually like it if they enhance the fighting engine a lot and I'd like to see many differences for each character. For example, some characters will have one style while others have multiple styles that they can switch from. There should also be characters with multiple styles, but they can't switch styles so that they can do all of the moves without being in a specific fighting style. And not all characters should have the whole 2 hand to hand and 1 weapon style. I'd actually like for some characters to have all weapons or mostly weapons, etc. And of course, I'd like for there to be more fighting styles and weapons as well as more special moves and more accuracy of the fighting style moves and stances to the real life counterparts.

I love the MKDA fighting engine. I just hope they bring it back and leave SOME characters fighting styles alone. Like Sonyas Kenpo and Tae Kwondo, and Scorpions Hapkido and the other. Are the best.
