No, please no! Although Kill Bill was a cool movie, I wouldn't like to see Beatrix Kiddo in MK. I didn't find anything special about her. The sword could be altered and used for MK, but other than that nothing. Also, the rights for the movie would have to be bought, which will never happen. And using her would just kill MK because using a someone from a movie or game in an MK gmae is just so unoriginal and stupid.

I don't know. Shujinko looks a hell a lot like Pai Mei.

We have Pai Mei in the form of Shujinko, so why not? A character like Beatrix would kick ass!

Great mini concept. All her trademark moves would be awesome, however they'd all have to be switched and replaced with new ones to avoid copyright issues.

Having Mavado as Budd though is an insult to Mavado! lol And Kano as Bill is an insult to Bill! Bill and Mavado deserve better!

That would be sweet. It wouldn't have to be Beatrix, it could be a look alike but with a different name and have a vengance against whoever her bill was. Her alt could be a wedding dress and everything.Her Fatalities could be the eye poke as mentioned and also the Punch through her oppenant just like she like she had to do to get out of the coffin. that would be sweet.

Shujinko should definitely have a fatality like the 5 point palm exploding heart technique, no explosions. He hits a series of pressure points and the opponent just keels over and dies. Fatalities don't always have to be gruesome and bloody to be cool and creepy.

All for an eye-rip fatality too.

I understand where people who dont think it would be a good idea are coming from and I respect their opinions, but I personally would love to see it. If not, yes it would definatly rock to have the 5 point palm exploding heart technique a fatality for Shujinko. It would fit him very well. Anyhow, keep the ideas and input coming.

Personally, I would puke if a full blown character from Kill Bill were to show up in this game, so no. MK should just have their own unique characters, I already am not liking Shujinko for this fact alone (visually).

MK has always stol...er..borrowed character concepts from other mediums so it wouldn't surprise me if they threw in a Beatrix type character. As for her actually BEING Beatrix, there's no way in hell that would happen.

But seriously, no. That's a horrible idea. I enjoyed Kill Bill, just like I enjoyed Hero, The Terminator, the Spider-Man movies, Beverly Hills Ninja and an assload of other movies. That doesn't mean I think Jet Li, Arnold, the Green Goblin or the late Chris Farley should be in Mortal Kombat. Legal issues aside, Beatrix Kiddo, like any established character from another franchise, has no place in MK. (BTW I hope you're not offended by the first paragraph - it's really more aimed at the illiterate people who normally come up with ideas like this, I guess ;P)

Oh, and if you'd have watched any old kung-fu movies, you'd know that Shujinko is not a ripoff off Pai Mei. Shujinko, just like Pai Mei, is simply an homage to the stereotypical 'old kung-fu master' type character that's in just about every old kung-fu flick. I'll admit his appearance resembles Pai Mei's - but it's hardly a unique look.
