Wouldn't it be nice if...
..someone would make threads specifically for each of the popular topics, even if they'd be (dare I say it) "official". The way I see it if they'd do this, and clear the boards of all the locked topics and whatnot, this message board would be alot neater and alot less hectic.
Ex: the Character Story Speculation Thread , if people would reply to this instead of constantly making completely new threads, other threads, unique threads that can contribute to the subject of discussion wouldn't be pushed back and forgotten about. I think it'd be a great addition to the MK:D board if they'd just get the popular topics and make all of them stickies, anyone who wants to discuss them, just post up in the sticky instead of making numerous threads. Examples of these threads could be: Fatality Ideas, Complaints for MK:D, Konquest, Puzzle Fighter, Story Mode, Fighting Stances, etc...

Not to be rude or anything, but if it is being done, then why do I constantly see repeated threads? If it's being done, then it's not been doing right. Yes, but that's no reason to create a repeated thread, I have been on this board for quite some time and I always manage to catch up where I left off. It's not really hard to remember what page the thread you've been active in was last at.

true...so very true. plus, its refreshing to actually see new threads every now and then and know that the board is alive rather than seeing the same old thread titles and opting not to read them. not to say that the board should be spammed mercilessly with threads about the same subject but i think we have a pretty good balance so far.

the constantly repeated threads will never end unless stopping them is enforced. Unless warnings, skull points or banning is inforced it will never end.
But whoever said the only good thing about the repeated topics is u dont have to read 900 replies also has a point. I wouldent want to sit and read all those replys just to reply myself. But i also dont like the constant repeated threads so its a lose lose situation.
I figure if u dont like the topic dont reply to it and if u like a topic try to make it constantly interesting so that it stays on stop or try to get it sticked

well for the most part ur right. There pointless, but there are always those repeated thread that actually end up being interesting.
Let's say you have a fatality idea. Let's say there is also a general thread. When you reply, your reply goes on page whatever. Now if you want to get comments on it, people must read it. But when there are 900 replies, how can people get to read yours?

Spontaneous threads are better as many ideas expressed in static threads would not be seen. Not to mention it would be very boring.
