i mean how they just gunna put batman and superman in the world of mortal kombat
its not right

plus i hate D.C. comics

theres nothing brutal about a man in tights riding a sea horse

seriously MK v.s. DC
think about it

a bunch of Insane homicidal fucks v.s. a bunch of retards in tights

seriously if they put Robin in the game then im gunna go into every video game store and jump behind the counters and destroy each and every copy of this shitty game

No, think about it. Aqauaman could summon a great white shark to eat you. Piranhas. Killer Whale. Giant squid. Aquaman is an Aqua badass.

indeed that would be cool
but ed boon said there aint gunna be brutal fatalities

so no sharks are gunna be eating anyone
if boon put fatalities in the game then the game wouldnt be half bad
it would be interesting to see batman shoot his hook shot into someones rib cage and tear it out

i no its not right

you cant just mix a bunch of crazy genocidal people who slaughter who they want and when the want

with people who go around and saving people

its obvious that ANY Mortal kombat character and kill and dc superhero
even stryker could kill batman

this whole game is gunna ruin the story of mortal kombat

While I applaud Ed Boon and Co. for taking a huge risk and attempting to completely re-invent the series, instead of re-hashing the same old formula, I'm nervous about this. Cross-franchising with DC? Ok, I'm a bit leary, but I can accept that. For now.

No Mature rating? This is where I have a problem, and I'm not talking simply because of the gratuitous fatalities for which the series is known. You cannot possibly capture the dark and gritty feel of Mortal Kombat with a foam-padded Teen rating. And considering Midway is using the Unreal Engine 3, it seems to be quite a disservice to not use it to its full potential and make the dark, Mature-rated world of Mortal Kombat fully-realized.

I'm trying to keep an open mind about this. Really, I am. But there's a few too many red flags right now for comfort.

im an mk veteran and if you would have told me about this back in the day when i was so excited for deadly alliance to be released I would have soiled myself with how awsome it sounded but now that im older and can see things from a different prespective i can see this game will be a simple dissapointment.Thats not to say it's going to suck but definatly not what it could be if it was something new and darker like the original games but i guess it is what is. :(

Heh....yeah, guys like Liu Kang and Johnny Cage are real genocidal psychoes. How can Batman...a guy who hangs criminals off of skyscrapers just to hear them scream...compare with the likes of them?
