Since I'm getting both version, I intend to use my headset for Xbox live, as well as dish out an addition $30 for the PS2 headset to talk.

Yes,the game will support the headsets on both versions.Look out for me when i say stuff like "ya liked that didn't you?" and "Good try.Now go get some practice" and "Did I win?I didn't see that"

Yeah, I'll be rocking the headset and talking some friendly trash on XBL. That's part of the fun, just like it used to be when playing MK in the arcades.

ive never had xbox live.. does it lag if your connection isnt as good sometimes?... for instance.. does it make you warp places? or skip frames?

Not at all.I've never once had a lag prob with XBL.

Live very rarly lags, no hackers, no cheaters, ect.
