Okay, I know that tons of people, have called tons of places, and everyone is getting lots of different info, that's often sketchy at best, but I just called my local Toys R Us for about the 5th time in the past two days, and this time got a woman who was very helpful.
I realize I could have posted this in one of the 100 other release date threads, but frankly there are so many that I couldn't pick out the relevant ones from the irrelevant ones.
ANYWAY, I called my local Toys R Us, and the woman said...
Upon looking it up, they are in fact slated to release it tommorow, but, as far as she knows it isn't there yet. She said should they get it in tonight, or early tomorrow, they will be selling it tomorrow, but that is based entirely on whether or not they do in fact get it in, so she didn't really know what to tell me beyond that. The woman was very helpful, and sounded like she knew what she was talking about.
Now, this does back up what many people have said, having called their Toys R Us and gotten tomorrow as the date. -But- with the information she added on, for all we know, the Toys R Us's that others have called may not actually have it either, and could also have merely been reading the date from a list.
So, this is the 2nd Toys R Us I've called that has confidantly told me tomorrow is their sell date, although they don't have the game. So if your Toys R Us has told you they have it in hand, I'd say that you're one lucky fella, and you shoudl be getting the game tomorrow, but if they've merely told you tomorrow is the day, then you're still in the same confused boat as the rest of us.
