Hmm, ok, I won't go overboard like some and say "ooh let's have everybody in" except for like one that they don't like.
Okay, first off leave Liu Kang dead, if he comes back the story is going to become alot worse, unless they somehow make a miracle.
- Mileena/Jade NOT BOTH - One or the other. Either one should not look a thing like Kitana in any way.
- Ermac (MAYBE) but not in any sort of ninja form. Looking upon Ermac's story, I don't think he should be a ninja at all.
- Kenshi - Good new character, has potential to return.
- Nitara - Excellent new character, fits in perfectly, and excellent story potential with her race.
- Hsu Hao/Mavado NOT BOTH - I think bringing one of them back would be a better move. Decent new characters, Red Dragon has good story potential.
- Drahmin - Excellent new character, good story potential too. Fighting style is also different from the other characters, which makes playing him more fun (and in some cases more effective
).
- Sub-Zero and Scorpion - Obviously.
- Reptile/Dragon King - Pretty much confirmed.
- Sonya and Jax - Special Forces have to do something.
- Cyrax and either Sektor/Smoke (NOT BOTH) - Cyrax could well make a return in a more human form so that if there is another cyborg, they wouldn't look alike.
Quan Chi - much better than Shang imo, a change of fatality and he's pretty much set.
Kung Lao - I guess. I'm not much of a fan of him, but I think he would return.
Kitana - I'm getting tired of her look though, it's time she had a change from that UMK3 costume, which of course has now appeared in MKG and DA.
That's 15-16 right, so the others (however many else) could be filled with a couple of new characters (Dairou for example).
Who I do NOT want to see:
- Shao Kahn - leave him dead/laying low for a while.
- Liu Kang - God let him go already, he was so cheesy beyond belief and the story would be equally as cheesy with a return from him.
- Rain - Not a huge fan of him, he was unoriginal. If they can do something with his look and storyline, then maybe, but until then, no.
- Moloch - Don't know if he's dead or not, but somebody new should, and probably will, be introduced here.
Who I don't mind:
- Bo'Rai Cho, honestly, I didn't mind him, and his fighting styles were excellent.
- Frost - I'm not a huge fan of her, but I don't mind her either.
- Johnny Cage - I do not like Cage. I don't know why, but I just don't, but either way, he is one of the first characters, and I don't miind seeing him as long as they don't pull another resurrecting stunt on him.
