As for the 3DS, yes I think the graphics look amazing. If they release ports from the original Silent Hill's then count me in.

I'm loving mine so far.
My #1 most wanted is a 3D version of MvC3 (and later, MK9!)

If anybody WANTS a 3DS, I'll sell ya mine for $200 (plus shipping & handling). It works and is in perfect condition; been used a grand total of one time. It's just not as cool as I thought it'd be, and I need the money more right now.

I don't actually like 3D and think it's an overused and pointless gimmick that will disappear for another 20 years in about six months, no matter how hard they try to shove it down our throats.

I just want a DS with better graphics.

I didn't buy it for the 3D. There's a slider that lets you adjust the amount of depth you'd like, and when it's turned all the way down, it's 2D.

I love the 3D (well not in pilot wings, i want to move the screen too much since i'm flying), but I'm writing a paper and random words are flying out of the screen so imma turn it off for a little bit lol.)

3D isnt required but for pilot wings it makes life a whole lot easier when you find the sweet spot.

Overall though its an amazing piece of hardware. I cant wait for Resident evil, DOA, Zelda, Kid Icarus, Star Fox.. Ect

LCDs seem to have 3DS-like depth after gaming on it.
It's weird, cool, and a little disturbing all at once.
But it goes away after a while.

@Bezo- The 3D is not required. You can even dial in the amount of 3D you want the games to have, so you can give it just a *little* depth, if you want.
Also, if they choose to ignore the 3D thing, developers can theoretically make games that are twice as good, graphics-wise, as the thing won't be processing two separate images at once.

Also, I wouldn't bet on 3D going away anytime soon.
I'm not a 3D fanboy or anything... I do enjoy it, but I can definitely live without it.
The thing is, Hollywood has invested literally *billions* of dollars in 3D, saturating the world with shiny new 3D theaters (they were even common in India- no BS). TV makers have taken a similar path. In essence, this has turned 3D into a "too big to fail" type of thing where too many people will lose money and livelihoods if it were to just "go away". And love it or hate it, it *is* profitable, and we know how much businesses like giving up on profitable ideas. It very well might scale back (I suspect it will), but in 5 years, finding a movie showing in 3D will be no harder than finding a theater screening IMAX now.

I'm not a big fan of 3D especially the over-hyped TV's ever since Avatar.. Even that said I have played the 3DS to see how impressive it is and to my surprise I have enjoyed the graphics and the 3D.. I am now a proud owner of my 3DS! everybody has their own opinions but for those who are closed minded about the device give it a chance and not just for the 3D.. the graphics are pretty impressive!

Even with 3D off its great, like you said. There are some good games coming out too other than Resident evil. Some will be released next week maybe. Capcom's event embargo will be lifted on tuesday
