If you were around in the 1990's, I'm sure you would have seen commercials for Aura Systems' haptic vest, the Interactor. I managed to contact the man who conceived the Aura Interactor, Larry Shultz, on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/larry777
I asked him some questions about the Aura Interactor in a message I sent to him on LinkedIn.

Hi, I have some questions about the 1994 product of Aura Systems that you helped make, the Aura Interactor:

1. What video game title(s) did Aura most heavily promote to use with the Interactor?

We were fortunate to launch in association with the new Mortal Kombat from 1994 by Acclaim.

2. What was the first video game title that Aura first tested the Interactor with?

Once again, Mortal Kombat* -- but all the video game companies were alerted to the need to increase the bass on their sound effects for maximum woofer effect.

3. Was Capcom one of Aura Systems' partners in the co-op advertising supporting the Interactor? If not, why not?

We had an exclusive arrangement to start with Acclaim and their various titles.

I sent him another message after this.

What were Aura's reasons for choosing to partner with Acclaim, rather than another video game company?
Mortal Kombat was the hottest game in the world in 1994 – so we went with the game we knew would have buyers.

*presumably Mortal Kombat II

It seems the SNES was more popular than the Genesis, in Aura's eyes at least. Because Larry mentions on his website: "we had designed, prototyped, manufactured and shipped (if my memory serves correctly) over 89,000 Interactor units, at a wholesale price of $53 per unit with a suggested retail price of $89.95 (which was a little more than the cost of OTHER Super Nintendo games).": http://larryshultz.com/index.php/aura-interactor/
He doesn't acknowledge the Genesis games at all.

Just wanted to share and preserve some video game history with you folks.

I actually really appreciate this. We had an interactor when I was very young. I have, like, 1 memory of the thing actually working. I think the power went out on it. Afterward, it just became one of those broken pieces of tech you keep for some reason. In fact, I think it might actually be in storage still.
