A new King of Fighter game

Are there any King of Fighters fans here?

SNK Playmore is currently working on a new King of Fighters game for the PlayStation 2 XBOX, and GBA its called King of Fighters Maximum Impact KOF Maximum Impact will ship in Fall 2004 "09/14/2004" and is the first KOF title to be designed specifically for the PlayStation 2

also SNK NeoGeo USA announces the lineup of PS2, Xbox, and GBA titles that it plans to showcase at E3

There are 2 KOF games in development (KOF: Max Impact, and KOF 2004), as well as the newest one to hit arcades (KOF Neowave).

Yes but i think that King of Fighters Maximum Impact is the only one that is in 3D

Yeah, I'm kinda' looking forward to KoF:MI. Since Toshinden has passed for quite some years now, I've been wanting to see how 2d style cancels, attack systems, etc. would work in 3D. Well, I've been looking forward to see if it can be pulled off, actually. I'm looking forward to it, even if it blows total ass.

BTW: A little off toptic, but I guess GG:Isuka is like total shit, lol. At least from japan logs I've read. You actually hit your partner, like when you do supers and bursts and shit. LOL, lame....

Pretty cool.They should drop some 2D elements they don't fit 3D games too well.Look at SFEX3 and MK4.They were okay games but nothing like the 2D games.

Yeah, I looooove KOF!
I hope that Lin, Ryuuji Yamazaki and Sie Kensou are in the new 3-D KOF, they'd look awesome in 3-D.
I can't wait to play the 3D KOF game, but I hope it doesn't come out like the street fighter EX games.

A 3D game that plays like a 2D game doesn't get very high scores from me.


I want the characters to have a ton of normal attacks, a lot of short combos. 2-5 attacks

I hope they DON't go with the simple game trend that all these game seem to go with.
