a question about online gaming for xbox?

i don't have xbox live, i like to play a game regular, if a game i like says "live enabled" does that mean that i have to have online to play the game?

Nope. it just mean that u can play that game online. so no u dont need online to play that game.

99% of the time I would say it's safe to say 'NO'. All the games with 'Live' are optional, to my knowledge. I say 99% cause in the future, they very would could release an 'online only' game, but for now, all games are old fashion regular games, with the online option.

Wrong...

The only online enabled Xbox game that requires you to have XB Live just to play (even offline) is Phantasy Star Online. All of the other games that are "live enabled" can be played offline without needing XB Live...

oh ya, i forgot about that. some guys u will need xbox live even though it says enabled on it. bc i saw this one game, it says " for online play only"

If you have cable internet try out LIVE even if you only do a 2 month trial

its absolutely worth it if you ahve the time toi play online, i dont have too much time to play online until mid april but i love the online play it is great
