i dunno whether this got released in Britain or whether it was just a case of lack of sales but i've asked around and no1 seems 2 have heard of it.

It was released quite a few years ago and @ the time was the only rival (if i remember correctly) 2 final fantasy 8.

i rly enjoyed playin it, ne opinions on it or has no1 else heard of it either

This was a great RPG that FF fanboys never got to understand and play, I loved this game with my heart.

I still have that game. It was fun. I loved the dragoon armor. The dragon themselves were really weird looking. Except for that, the game was really good, minus a few crappy points in the plot.

Never got around to beating it, but from what I played I thought it was pretty splendid.

I remember it, fondly.

The story is kind of lack-luster, with everything from a villian with silver hair to a Star Wars "Luke I am your father" moment, but it was okay.

The best part is the fighting system, which was not only inovative but kept you from taking your eyes off the screen; at least until you got the item that made it so that additions were done automaticlly.

All-in-all, it is a good game. Too bad they never did a sequel.

Very true. This game was very underrated. It is good enough to rival the PSOne Final Fantasies. I hope a sequel comes out someday.

An extremely great rpg, I bought it the day it came out. It was dogged for "copying final fantasy 7" when it was nothing near it in the least. the combat system was like nothing i've ever seen in any rpg to that time and it never bored me like the ATB had from time to time in the final fantasies. It also had amazing graphics that blew me away when I first played it. I rate this highly among the many games I have.

Bah. Xenogears' ending song pwns Legend of Dragoon's ending.

Yeah, I played LoD. I got pretty far, but never finished it due to time constraints. It was okay, in my opinion. The battle system was 1337, though.

well gd opinions from the majority grin i loved the CG work they did i think whoever did those 4 LoD should've helped out MGS2 in how and when 2 do cutscenes properly.

My favourite characters 2 play as throughout the game were Dart, Lavitz/Albert and Rose. i felt that by the time other characters got their dragoon stones i had got 2 far with my the main 3 2 start on other characters, i did do somework with them though as there as some battles that u have 2 use certain characters as so i made sure that every1 was @least dragoon level 4.

Along with Time Crisis 1, Tekken 3 and of course MK Trilogy these 4 games were my favourites and the only games i'll load up my ps1 4.

Here in America we knew about it, and have been there, but I haven't "done that" *because I haven't played it?*.

Well Xenogears just ownz all. On my list, Xenogears is only 2nd to Final Fantasy 6. The 2nd disc is kinda dissapointing though since you read about most of the conflicts rather than play them.
