I was thinking the other day, a lot of the staff and mods here talk about how hard it is to keep track of all the threads and rate them and make sure that everyone is behaving in them... since the General forum is different from the MK forums it looks to me like some people could be appointed as mods or even psudo-mods just for the General forum so that the rest could work on the MK forums... its just a suggestion i had, sorry if it sounds stupid or irrational...

lol. seriously tho i agree about appointing a certain number of mods to a specific board. the most active mods should stick with the most active boards. makes sense to me. as for the whole make other ppl mods idea. well i like that one too. glasses

Actually that may bot be too good of an idea, because I can sense some hatred on this forum, I don't think there are any(maybe just a few) that would do it rationally.

i see what ur saying... but thats where the staff comes in, if the person they pick does not do his or her duties and abuses power then they can strip them of it... i can see how that can cause a problem to but mainly with noobs, a lot of the vets here r very sensible and reasonable people...

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly with Ghaleon. Perhaps 1 or 2 unbiased, faithful members should be appointed to that task.

If I remember correctly, Shadow Priests can award points. I also believe that points alone cannot make one a Shadow Priest. The mods have to gather up and than decide if that person is worthy of such position once that user does get points. If this is the case, we can just detour some users straight to Shadow Priests to take some of the load off the mods.

Just a thought.

The only person close to being Shadow Priest is TimsMK since he just needs to go to "Flawless Champion" then SP.

Yeah I think it's a really good idea. It's impossible to award all the points accurately, but at least with a few more honest volunteer staff it could sure help out the other mods.
