I'd rather that than SF vs MK, because I don't think they'd mix well enough.

Mortal Kombat vs Darkstalkers would be so, so much better. DS is still a Capcom game, is rushdown oriented like MK, and has gnarly stuff like this:

YES. With that said they just need to make a new Darkstalkers game in general. 2D or with the 3D SF4/MVC3 treatment...it doesn't matter. New game, now.

Anyway as far as the original post...aside from some off choices like Nakoruru and Morrigan, Capcom Vs. SNK was pretty much KOF Vs SF. I would love to see another CvS game though and there's not really a reason not to make one especially since MVC3 is almost out the door.

So we must have SF v KOF, and MK vs DS.

actually i'd rather have darkstalkers vs guilty gear than mk vs darkstalkers. but anyways back to my topic. is there anyone else would like kof vs sf. only using those characters from there respective franchises.

maybe if kofx3 goes well maybe capcom would do another vs game with snk instead of capcom vs snk, have kof vs sf.

Capcom and SNK are so much bigger than SF and KOF that it would be pointless to have that game.

It's like doing MvsC and then going back to X-men vs SF.

I'd be totally fine with this because XvsSF owned bones.

If I had a vote in the matter, I'd go with MK vs. Street Fighter. In my eyes, those are the two great innovators in fighting games.
