What do you guys think of it?

Personally, it is not something I want to celebrate. To me, it is just some joke imported from USA (Valentines Day has never been a Danish tradition), completely overrated and simply just an excuse to sell anything heartshaped to earn some easy bucks.

That said, I am a HUGE fan of love. I'm in love right now, dating this wonderful guy who luckily feels the same way about this abomination of a holiday, so we decided not to go out for dinner or celebrate it in any way today. Love is something you should celebrate whenever you feel it, not just because it says so in the calendar. I love the people I love and I will show it to them whenever I feel like it, in whatever way I want.

So no, definately not a fan of Valentines Day. I will, however, make sweet love to my man when the next MK is announced and celebrate it in a far bigger way than this holiday. ;)

Also, sorry for the gayness in this, I know not all of you appreciate it. XD

Whatcho talkin' 'bout? Valentines Day is the best. Celebrating love via candy, heart-shaped balloons, and cards based on popular franchises is beast mode.

Valentine's Day means little to me but my girlfriend eats up a lot of the sappy commercial stuff and I love making her happy.

Valentines Day, is it over commercialized? Yes. Is it dumb? Absolutely.

But I've never had a chance to celebrate it with somebody. It might sound sappy but I'd like to have a Valentine for once. I envy those who have someone to hold hands with and hug.

I do agree that Valentine's Day is over commercialized. However, I think Valentine's Day is a perfect day for couples to express their love in a more personal level. For example, making something from scratch for the other person. Other than just the typical Valentines present that most people get.
I think a gift made by a person makes it more personal, because it means the person has put a lot of thought into it than just chocolates and flowers.

Happy Valentine's Day.

I expect something sexual in return for this gesture.

Actually, this is a special day for me, because my dad was born on Valentine's Day. So, I at least have that to celebrate today.

I'm actually rather excited, as it's my first Valentine's Day with an actual female to be with. That said, I absolutely hate the "holiday" aspect- what's so special about Valentine's Day? Why isn't showing how much you care a year-round thing? That's my philosophy.

My gal and I get to just chill together tomorrow, so that's something.

I don't mind if it's a lazy day with my boyfriend. I just want chocolates and flowers.
