Needed more Tigerblood.

Jokes aside, its side when anybody dies, but I'm not a fan of her music and she did this to herself so I'm pretty unaffected.

I knew her but that was for what she did outside her music. Can someone tell me what song she had. R.I.P.

One of her songs was "rehab" which is where she should have been (or stayed much longer if she did go)....

Honestly, if that was her lifestyle... it was her choice and she deserved what she got from it. It's sad but true.

The sympathy is put towards her artistry, not her as a person.

If that's the case, I'll leave my sympathies at the door. Her music lives on, she does not.
What are we mourning?

No one deserves death for being an addict. That is NOT a choice.

One thing that does bother me, and Kelly Ozborne actually made this point, is that no one really knows Winehouse's true struggles with her addictions.

No one knows how hard she really did fight to overcome it, and no one seems to take in the truth that drug addiction takes years to overcome.

While her choice to even start doing drugs was her fault and hers alone, I think people should take into consideration in some sense that she did her best to break free of her addictions.

It took Drew Barrymore years to overcome her addictions, as it did Robert Downey Jr. and Eminem. Fortunately for them, they lived long enough to break free.

Bullshit. If She was in Rehab (which I believe she actually did go), and left whether it was her choice to leave or she was actually clean... then she fucking chose to go back to the drugs. If she chose to leave on her own then she clearly prefers that lifestyle to one where you could still be living.

You think someone that dependent is really capable of making those choices? That's why we have interventions and rehab in the first place, because they can't do it themselves and they can't make the right choices. It would take years of recovery for her to reach the point where she can choose anything over her addictions, someone simply needed to force her to do it, no matter what she said. Severe addicts are like children, they need someone to make those choices for them or they will fall back on what they know, and that is: drugs make them feel good.

One thing that shits me is people saying drug addiction is a sad disease, I have family n friends who are drug addicts because they want drugs, they do not care about consequences who they steal from or public opinion of them. While I will say some cases are sad there are alot of cases where people are junkies because they like being junkies and will play the sympathy card when it suits them.
I'm not saying Winehouse was one of these people but she also didnt seem to mind otherwise

Comments like that is what makes us metal heads look bad. Stop with your trolling on every post that's about a popstar or anything of the sort. Someone just died whether you like them or not. Show a little respect for once in your life.

I also feel terrible for their fans. Sucks...
