My favourite anime is Rurouni Kenshin.
I watched all the movies (3, including OVA's) and the entire series (95 + 2 specials).
I love Japanese history, and Rurouni Kenshin is very accurate.
My no.2 anime is Last Exile, I loved that series and I absolutely loved the music (I have downloaded the two CD's).
The Story is very strong, and very interesting (I found).
Another great anime is Tsukihime (US title = Moon Princess).
Very strong story and cool music.
I especially liked the feel the movie gave.
Like Lain did.
Which brings me to my fourth favourite anime; Lain.
Great story line, and fantastic characteristics.
Other anime's I've watched are (Yes, I made a list.
):
3x3 Eyes (watched the first 4 episodes, then gave up because it's not that interresting).

Street Fighter II: Movie
Tekken: The Motion Picture

Vampire Princess Miyu TV
(some - like Vampire Princess Miyu TV and a few episodes of Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 - are pending)
Note that that list is incomplete, I've watched a few other anime's as well.
Some via satellite, others via friends and such.
I personally hate Dragonball (and its successions), I've watched the series for a while (little bro used to watch it during dinner), but I freaggin hate it (yes, we had many fight over that.)
In another note, I also dislike anime's such as: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Trigun, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Ranma and Gundam.
I also hate most Meccha's (except for - obviously - Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, which can be viewed as a Meccha), which includes Big O.

I am an Anime fan. I just recently got into Anime and enjoy it very much. My favorite flick are:
Vampire Hunter D
X the movie
Akira
Ghost in the Shell
Tekken the movie
Sailor Moon
Cowboy Bebop(both series and movie)
I have seen other flicks but I can't think of the titles of them.
I was wondering does anyone here have any suggestions for me, since I'm just getting into anime??? It would help a lot. Thanks.

Its good to know that you're getting into it, for there are tons of awesome Anime/Manga shows/movies. If you dont watch Dragon Ball Z, maybe you can watch that for starters. The beginning of DBZ until the end of it is very interesting. You can always download the episodes. DBGT is not as good though IMO, very boring.
But besides that, here are some that i would reccommend:
- Naruto (its awesome)
- Berserk
- Negima
- Yu Yu Hakusho
- Blue Seed
- Nightwalker
- Gravitation
- Trigun
- Ninja Scroll
- Lupin
- Noir
- Evangelion
- Neon Genesis
- Hack//Sign
- Outlaw Star
- Gundam Wing
- Gundam (all)
- Wolf's Rain
Those are some i would reccommend. They're great.

Yu Yu Hakusho is the best anime show I've eva seen! The uncut verison is funny! The best anime moive has to be the Street Fighter cartoon movie! When I first saw that my jaw dropped

0
Hell Yeah those are all good except Urotsukotoji: Legend of the Overfield, even before the Hentai I didn't like it. Ohh yeah you forgot Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie
I am pretty new to anime. I have seen Ninja Scroll and Ghost in the Shell and thought Ghost in the Shell was pretty crappy compared to it's manga origin. Ninja Scroll, on the other hand, I thought was really good. So basically, my question is: If you love Ninja Scroll what other anime movies should you watch?

I just knew this thread would have to return sometime...
In case you don't know, I pride myself with creating the first-ever Anime/Manga thread on MK5.org.

-One Piece
-Power Stone

-Vision of Escaflowne
-Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf
-Fatal Fury: The New Battle
-Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture
-Astro Boy (don't let its appearence fool you, it's a classic)
Anime that I haven't seen yet but I really want to see:

-Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer
-Princess Mononoke
-Spirited Away
-Anything by Hayao Miyazaki
-Anything by Masami Obari

-Akira
-Ninja Scroll
-Slayers
Manga that I read:
-Yu-Gi-Oh ! (in French and English)
-Shaman King (in English)
-One Piece (in English)
-Naruto (in English)
-Yu Yu Hakusho (in English)
-Rurouni Kenshin (in French, known as "Kenshin le Vagabond" which means "Kenshin the Vagabond". You just learned French !)
More to come.

I truely love just about every anime I have ever seen. My favorite movie is probably Ninja Scroll. As for series, hands down my favorite is Inu Yasha. Not the american dubbed versions though, I perfer to watch it with subtitles and the original voice actors. Naraku is so evil....
