i agree completely. I was in the election thread supporting Bush because almost everyone is against him. Even one deranged conspiracy theorist was saying that Bush gets his money from Hitler. Im voting for Bush in the upcoming election because he has lead us through some tough times in the past 4 years and we are still standing. I sure hope this doesn't become a moron fest like the other thread.

I don't like Bush. I agree with the many who say he is deluded and a paranoiac. He enjoys using the American fear of death and terrorism (the threat of which is much more scarce than he and his administration would like us to believe) to do his bidding, such as invading Iraq. I believe he has profaned the tragedy of September 11 in the same way.

I also dislike many of his overzealous religious views and standpoints, such as overly strict drug laws and stubbornly supporting the war on drugs, as well as attempting to ban same-sex marriages.

I don't exactly think Kerry is a gem, either. He just seems a little shady and far too passive--not the man I want in office to pull us out of the warmongering mess Bush has put us in.

My vote would go to Nader if I was 18.

You asked if there were any Bush supporters. You never said "THREAD FOR BUSH SUPORTERS ONLY". You couldn't do that anyway. It's an open forum. Even if you could exclude a group from a thread, people in that group would still post in it. People will go to great lengths to express their views to people on the internet.

You need to calm the hell down. You ask a question in the thread title and get upset when people post saying they dislike Bush. Then when someone states their opinion of this country, you make completely stupid remarks. You need to grow up.

It was BornAgainVampire that said that, and even I'll concede, he was going a bit overboard with the way he sid it. See, the fact is, Prescott Bush (Bush Senior's father and Dubya's grandpa) made much of his fortune investing in banks with Nazi ties before and during WWII. Prescott recieved a few million dollars after the bank was dissolved after WWII. As a major shareholder, it is extremely unlike Prescott would have been unaware of the Nazi ties. In other words, much of the Bush family fortune was derived from Nazi investments.

And as UREIKO said, if you make a subject like this, when you KNOW so many people disagree, don't expect to only get answers from the choir. We anti-Bush folk are angry about the greedy, immoral, and stupid things Dubya has done, and feel strongly about getting him out of office in November. We're just offering a different opinion, not trying to stop you from posting yours.
