Any drummers on MKO?
Just wanted to know if there are any drummers up in here? Post what you've got if you play.

kick- 22" x 16" Pearl Forum with clear Remo Pinstripe batter and Powerstroke 3 Ebony reso with 5" mic hole. Minimal muffling inside drum.
Cymbals
ride- Sabian 21" AA prototype extra heavy model with raw finish

That's a lot of parts. I don't even have a ride cymbal
I'm one, but I totally forgot what I have for a set.
My boyfriend is pressuring me to practice so much because he would like to get a band starting really soon, by summer break actually. But it sucks that where I live, the drumset takes so much space that it's not always set up all the time when I feel like playing.
I did have my fun take in marching band and I loved concert band because I enjoyed playing the timpanis. Did a solo for my last year of high school, nailed a first place on it.
Either the judge thought I was cute becuase I could so tell he was flirting, or he was really impressed that I came back after having a stick fly out of my hand when it got caught in one of the handles during this one part going from high timp to low timp. That was one of my favorite memories...
Aww.
Ride by Samuel Hazo... brilliant director when it comes to percussion.
Abrams Pursuit is another classic song, I was on xylophone, had an AWESOME solo part.
I'm mostly a percussionist rather than just a drummer and playing on set. If I had more chances to play in a band again I would so take the time to do so.

You got a drummer right here. However, I do not own a pro drumkit. I have a set that is of a brand I never heard of before, but it was given to me when I left Jazz band in high school as a recognition for being a member. SO, I apreciate what I was given.
However, I bought a 14 inch Pearl snair that I've been having for 3 years now. It sounds great and I do not need to muffle it to get a good sound. Just tune it up, and bam.
I have a few videos of me drumming on youtube, but I do not know if I can post that here or not.
Plus, I did not know if you meant post what you got as in how you play or the gear one uses. I assumed the latter.

My dad was a drummer in an underground band that traveled across the U.S. and even into Canada. Although they never reached great success and one of the band members sliced someone in the neck and the band broke up. However, I have inherited his drumming skills, but I don't play in a band and I only play drums as a little hobby. I used to have a small Tama drum set along with some Pearl parts, but I had to eventually sell it for monetary purposes.
I play drums, and I think i'm pretty good for my age atleast. I'm defiantly the best in my school, and stuff. If I had a better kit I know I would be pretty amazing. My kit is shitty with only 2 sabian cymbals and 1 tom is broken and the snare sounds like total shit. Oh well, I hope to get a new kit sometime later in the future.
