I saw a commercial for Atlantis last night. What is it supposed to be about? I just caught the last few seconds of it.

I watched the first 4 seasons then switched to Farscape.

I've only seen handfulls of the last 3. The Atlanits series seems interesting to get into.

I'm So not a fan, but I really wanna see and am PVRing the Atlantis spinoff. I love crap about Atlantis (cause you know it's supposed to be the garden of Eden)......

Yeah I like SG-SG1.

Atlantis is coming on the Movie Network here in Canada and premiering July 19th. I'll be watching it, as it looks cool.

I don't care for it,then again I only watched the last five or six minutes every time.

I liked it until Piere Bernard left the show.

I'm a big fan of both the movie and the show.
I saw Atlantis last night, it looks pretty cool. I was just pissed that Rober Patrick died (T 1,000 and Agent Dogget from X Files). The new enemy, the Wraith look really powerful. Plus, the first episode of SG1 was shown last week, that was pretty sweet. O'Neil was pramoted to General. As for Hammond, the first General, he's been transfered to Washington. I guess he'll be overseeing a Global Defense branch.

Between the wraith and the replicators.. they make the Goa'uld look like pansies.. its going to be an intersting season 8 for star gate.. to bad its the last 1.. yes atlantis actually did deserve all of its hype.. its going to be kool seeing all the Advanced technology and the good guys using it for once.. my only beef w/ the show is how they say they cant go back to earth.. this better just be a season 1 problem.. w/ all the power and technology they have now,they should be able to find out how to return to earth at will..

They can't return to Earth? Isn't that what happened in the animated spinoff ,Stargate: Eternity? I've only seen 1 episode of that one. Couldn't get into it.

heres hoping after movie 2 of stargate that they will make another series of sg1 and demote jack o'niel make the leader of sg1 were not uptodate here so i dont know whats happening but i have up to season 3 on dvd

well u got 4 more seasons to watch..lol the reason for jack o'niel being a genral now and in charge of the star gate on earth is because in real life richard dean anderson doesnt want to work as much any more hes done after this final season of sg1..im hoping some way some how stargate sg1 contiues,i could careless about the jack o'niel character..i like watching daniel jackson,tilk and samantha carter.. its scifi’s # 1 show u would think they would try to convince them to stay on and do more seasons..its still fresh after 8 seasons which is rare to find on tv. also there r so many stories they can go back to from past seasons..
like finding out if the Tollans r dead or not..how The Nox r doing..we haven’t seen them since season 1..we have yet to see Furlings... the hostile aliens from season 3’s episode foothold.. And the Reetou, they were supposed to be invading earth. What the hell happened to them? All of these episodes and more

I really like the show. It's being recorded every week now. One issue. The girl in charge is way too thin. She'll never last. hee hee. She looks like an anorexic in a hurry to get a burger.(Thank you Kathleen Madigan for the funny line).
