First, before anyone says this is in the wrong forum, it's not. True, it's about deception, but it is more about a personal issue than the actual game.

Anyway...
The financial position I'm speaking of is if you don't have the money to just go out and buy games when you want. I mean, my wife and I cut it close enough on the bills that I have to save up for games that I want. Anyone else.

Anyway, I've ran into some money troubles, (in other words, car is crap) so in order to buy MK:D without dipping into the already thin savings account, I'm wanting to get rid of some of my old games (probably on ebay, pawn shops don't pay enough) Here is a list of My Games, and the ones I wouldn't mind losing. What do you guys think?

Games:

SNES
I'm not even thinking of getting rid of any of my SNES games.
Gotta love a classic

N64
Bass Hunter 64 - Probably sell this one
Star Wars: Battle for Naboo - and this one
Donkey Konb 64 - most likely this one
MKM: Sub-Zero - and maybe this one

---want to keep
MKT
MK4
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
Perfect Dark
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

XBOX
Spiderman - Probably sell this one
Amped - This one too
---want to keep
Halo
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Soul Calibur 2
---????
OXM Demo Disks
31-36 & Best of XBOX Game Demos Vol. 1

GameCube
Tony Hawk - maybe one or two of these
3
4
Underground
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle - and this one
---would like to keep
Star Wars RS:II and III
Super Smash Bros.
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
NBA Street Vol 2
Metroid Prime
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

The trouble is, because of the money situation, I only buy games that I know I'm gonna love (e.g. Halo, SSBM, Mortal Kombat, etc...)
So, it's really hard to choosed which games to get rid of.

I'm thinking if I put them on ebay, I'm gonna offer another one of my games(A Good One) for free if the bidding goes over a certain amount.

..I dunno.......

I wish I had money.

Perhaps you should rent until you can buy. That's what I do, no complaints so far.

Or maybe you should pre-order a few months in advance, and pay it off in parts(what I'm doing with MKD).

Good luck either way. smile

If you're gonna sell them why not just trade them in?

There have got to be dozens of ways to make quick and easy money. You could become a male stripper, set up a 3-card monty scam... there's bounty hunting, pyramid schemes, insurance fraud, identity theft, the list goes on. Just remember, if someone approaches you saying, "Isn't that illegal?" just think about the fun you'll be having kicking people into meat grinders, and tell the naysayer to go fuck himself. Hey, it worked for Cheney.

But if you want to take the *yawn* "legal" approach, DrCube's incremental payment strategy sounds like a good plan.
