Closest thing I ever saw close to a Tornado out west was a Microburst. Which I guess is kind of the opposite.
But yeah, be safe Illinois.
Well I can safely say that everyone is safe. (I do not do well with storms at all) But I guess the reason why the sirens went off last night was to warn everyone the possibility of a tornado since the storms were capable of producing them. I never knew they do that. But everyone is posting damaging pictures. It looked like a tornado ripped through.
But anyone who was caught in this storm on here, I hope everyone was safe.

Tornadoes scare the fuck out of me. I've had reoccurring nightmares about them as long as I can remember.

I used to live there for 20 years. Hurricanes aren't as bad or nearly as frequent as the noreasterns. But y'all may get a special 4th of July hurricane!!
I live in Omaha Nebraska now. Always under some sort of tornado watch. I hate it.

I'm out in Naperville, and it's crazy, because it seems like the worst of it went north and south of me. I know that sirens went off in Bolingbrook during the night and that the wind and rain were much worse up north. Glad it had a lot of bark but no bite!!
Earlville got hit the worse, and now they've been reporting that eight tornadoes touches. Six in Illinois, two in Indiana.
It's just weird on storms act. It looked like nothing hit where I am, my brother just got his power back tonight while having it out for two days, and other places look like it did get hit with a tornado despite that it didn't. And then you have the places that did have the tornados. It just stinks with storms.

I haven't heard anything about bad weather here. The worst it got this week was a little rain. And it lasted less than 30 minutes.

This.
I don't think we'll be hit hard here in Maine, but its still enough that things are messing up. But it is messing things up for the weekend, on top of storms we are probably having today and tomorrow.

See, I used to beg for rain on the Fourth because that meant that the cops would hassle me less about fireworks. They were legal on the res, but they would come and bug you if it was too dry. "Arthur" is ruining my 4th of July plans. >:/
Anyway, I'm in Ireland currently, so I doubt the locals would appreciate me blowing stuff up for America.
