Anyone remember playin KI?
or still plays it?
I think it was a great game at the time, and I still find it pretty good. Not that there aren't any better games, it's good in its own ways like combos and characters.
If there's anyone who has zsnes or snes9x and would like to play killer instinct online, please send me their email by pm and has msn messenger, i could either send you the program directly or give you a link to it.
We could play Killer instinct online, if yo uwant.

I remember KI. I've played it once in 1994 at the arcades. From what I remember the AI in the arcade version was super tough. I own the Snes version of the ( which is a good game but never did the arcade justice). I loved the snes KI. I played it mostly on the Snes and watched people play it at the arcades mostly. My two favs are Fulgore and Jago.
PS -I wish we could have saw Orchild's "flash fatatity" ^_^.
It was an excellent game. My favorite characters were Glacius and Cinder (gogo elementals). It had one of the best combo systems to date in my opinion.
As for Orchid's flash No Mercy...I'd say it was a good chance she didn't have breasts, but like tiny aliens growing out of her chest.

Of course I remember. I used to do Jago's 28 hit ultra on my friends and we would watch in awe as we heard the announcer say "ultra ultra ultra".

Oh yes, back in the day this was the proving grounds for anyone who talked trash about how skillful they were in fighting games. I still use snes 9x to play almost every day, when I'm not schooling people in half life.

Oh yeah, that game was awesome! I have Gold for the N64. My favorites were Cinder, Glacious, Jago, and Fulgor.
I still remember in the first Killer Instinct doing Fulgor's finisher. His chest would open and his head would tuck in. In place of his head a .50 calibur twin barrel machine gun would come out and just slaughter the guy. I made my friends cry with 30+ hit combo strands, and making them hear "Ultra Combo" over and over and over again. Now that Rare is part of Microsoft, I think we might see a new KI game in the future.

I was playing KI on SNES 5 minutes ago. Nobody mentioned playing as Eyedol. I've been trying moves off the movelist I got.

In KI my best character was Orchid, she kicked so much ass, I was also awesome with Cinder.
In KI2 my best character by far was Glacius, he was fuckin awesome, SAbrewulf and Combo were pretty good too.
And why did they take out Thunder, Cinder, and Riptor in KI2? They were so badass in the first one, the new characters sucked,

I love KI! Orchid and Jago are my fave characters on both games! Both own ass!
I haven't played either in a long time though. Especially KI Gold.
Hopefully KI 3 will get made at some point! The series deserves a chance to continue.

Hell yeah, ki beat the fuck out of everything at the time! Orchid was my best character too, but Eyedol was playable and owned everybody!
I used to make people spend a lot of money trying to beat me. I wouldn't used it all the time, but Eyedol had an infinate in the corner off his juggle too!

Wow, i'm surprised quite a bit of people here play KI, nice.
If anyone would love to play KI on snex9x or znes online, against me that would be sweet.
I love playing with fulgore, and orchid,! they kick ass,
i also like playing with jago, thunder, and glacius.
Fulgore has the best move set for a character i've ever seen.
I didn't know you tgrant played ki! sweet.
I liked the n64 version too, it's just that the controller was a horrible piece to use especially for a game like KI.
The background arenas was a nice match, i liked Spinal's Pirate ship in 3d.
Yes, i have to say the game had one of the best combo systems and i think still does, it's quite fun and sometimes challenging to pull off combos and combo breakers. And We all loved to finish our opponent with humiliation or their finishers, or even finish them with ultra ultra ultra combo, or even with an Ultimate Combo!
Shadow Moves were sweet too, and i will never forget that the enders to the combos were great for a lot of the characters especially Fulgore's!
