Artists You Consider Music Legends

For me, she's one of them:


After listening to quite a few of her songs, and adding them all to my MC collection, I began to think about how legendary she has become, at least to me.

Being the biggest-selling female solo artist of all time, Mariah Carey has indeed come a long way, with thirteen studio albums, 18 number one hits, and a 9-album multi-platinum record.

Despite my musical talents fairing best in composition, I've dreamed of becoming even a quarter as successful an artist as she has become. She is, after all, one of my Top 5 favorite artists.


Other artists I consider music legends are:

PRINCE - supreme guitarist




MADONNA - music as heavenly as her voice




JANET JACKSON - the real dancing queen




EMINEM - lyrical genius





And of course:

MICHAEL JACKSON - god of music

Johnny Cash. I though he was awesome and his songs got better with age.


George Jones. To me he started country music and his song who's gonna fill their shoes is probably one of the best songs Ive ever heard.

George Strait. He's been singing for years won country music singer of the decade and still writes songs.

I don't have any cool pictures but as you can see I'm kind of a country fan. Those are true legends.

Hmmm...the only other person I can think of, at the moment, is this guy:


Trent Reznor, especially pre-With Teeth. Everything past Things Falling Apart sucked. He did a nice job on The Social Network's soundtrack, though.

Not sure is this is a reference to Eminem's course in Forgot About Dre, but it sure got me thinking about it. lol
