Story: The first half mainly focuses on Bruce ebcoming Batman. Katie Holmes is playing the Asst. Dictrict Attorney in the movie and is the love interest. The latter half of the film focuses on Bruce's battle with Ra's Al Ghul(Ken Watanabe). Chris Nolan(the Director) has said that this story will be much more driven by Bruce/Batman than previous films(which tended to focus more on the villians), and it is going for an overall 'less campy' feel, rather than side-show freaks, the villians are going to be believable nutters..He said what they are really going for is getting more back to the feel of the original late 30's detective comics..and I must say, as a hardcore Batman fan, that is DAMN pleasing music to the ears.

Yeah I know Hyuga, quite an ensemble of actors..

When I heard the writers to the Blade movies were doing the new batman film, I was excited! I can guerentee Batman Begins(great title) is gonna be awesome. Its also going to have a darker feel to it than the other batman films which is also damn cool.

Yeah the movie is more of a back to the origins. The first half will also include the prototyes of a lot of batman's weapons and gadgets. Also it will get deeper into how his parents died too. Some website which had a preview of the first half of the script. the movie does sound fucking awsome. I hope it revives the batman movies. It definetly sounds really good. Also that cast sounds really sweet.

I think Christian bale will be a great batman , and i thikn the movie in general will kick ass , batman was the only DC comic i ever liked besides the ocasional superman story

Yeah, and also, I notice that the new Batman logo looks more like the original logo from the old comics than the one they've been using the 60's show(the yellow oval one). The Batman film's by Burton were good, but they were based more on later comics, while this story as stated before will be more true to the older comics.

I think Bale will meake the perfect Batman/Bruce. He has already proven in American psycho that he can play the dual nature role. When he played Patric Bateman he played him two diffrent ways. The first was the Bateman who would interact with others in a calm fasion which would be perfect for the Bruce side. Then he played the cold and dark demented side of Bateman which would be perfect for the Batman side of Bruce Wayne

1st and 2nd are the best i hated the other ones they made me sick

yea, batman vs. superman would of been cool but it's been canceled, or "put on hold". I think the WB wants to concentrate on this batman movie. also they are releasing special edition dvd's of batman 1 and 2, along with the new animated show "The Batman" wich concentrates on Batman just meeting his first super villians. BIG time for batman fans!
