Do you mean the back to karkand or the gamestop physical warfare pack? I've gotten killed by the type 88 lmg but in the karkand pack there is a type 88 also, i dont know if they are the same. The karkand pack will be released earlier for ps3 than everyone else. Did this help? If you are talikng about the karkand pack it got redeemed when you entered your online pass.

Yeah ive been killed by Type 88's too, thats why ive been wondering.... And i wasnt talking about Back to Karkand, i'm already hip (in the know) to the map packs....

Tips on guns and classes and HOW TO FLY (damn it's hard) please.

What I am using: Mostly Engineer with Scar-H (loved that gun since CoD days), Holo sight, Grip and undecided between heavy barrel and taclight.

I like putting down mines around objectives and fucking with tanks. Seems like 1-1 this is not a great setup so I gotta hide a lot.

I also like playing as Recon, but seems kinda hard to get decent score and seems like I don't contribute as much. Using SV98 with either Ballistic scope or ACOG, just unlocked straight draw bolt (when you can fire twice without going unscoped). Most time you gotta spot vehicles since you cannot really do much against them.

Also, how does that targeting thing work that you unlock for it?

To fly the heli you got to use your right stick pretty much at the same time with the left stick (your on console right) to turn better and manuever away from objects. Use the left trigger to desend and right trigger to acsend, the left stick basically turns it 360 degrees or less ofcourse but the right one move the nose and tail of the heli by pushing down and pulling up on that stick. Left to right on That stick tilts it whichever way you choose same for diagonal. The controls are
weird at first but you'll get it but whatever you do try not to hold down on one direction for too long. If you can learn the heli the jet is way easy all you need to move with it is the right stick.

SOFLAM works together with laser guided missile from javelins helis jet etc. You simply mark targets that cant be dismissed if they use flares or smoke.

Thanks man, I guess I just gotta practice. I actually switched my two sticks for jets and helis in the options and that seems a bit better.

The limited edition and warfare pack should be two differant codes, my amazon dog tags were a seperate code.

I've been playing as the engineer class. I got one more unlock on the kit, then I'll switch to another class to level up. As far as guns go I really like the g36c & a/p (?) 91. As far as attachments go I ussually use either the holo scope or infferred, grip and silencer. [Edit]: Also anyone wanting tips for leveling up the recon kit, a tip I read on the gamefaqs board said to use the rifles without scopes in team death match or use the holo scope. I tried it one match myself and definitely a huge improvement. I went 8-10 with 5+ head shots. The starting US recon rifle plays just like the M1 carbine/grande from COD2 and other WW2 FPS.

as a pc player I had to enter a code in origin, PSN might have a similar system. the maps come later but the guns should be immediate.

I cant wait to play on a gritty Wake Island.

OK, I can finally fly a helicopter now. Thanks Packetman for the tips. But I cannot find anyone to kill because the idiots in my squad never spot things. It's hard seeing guys from the air when you got rockets locking on to you all the time.

Just unlocked the Thermal scope for both my Scar and sniper rifle. OMG that thing makes a huge difference. It is so easy to spot people with it. And my accuracy with the Scar has improved dramatically. It just seems way easier to focus on a headhot when you only have the red outline and green background to look at.

No.... hmmm... i'll try it later on today.... maybe thats wat i need to do....
and the dude who said the guns should be immediate: No, i cant find it..... ORRR maybe i unlock it through BATTLELOG???? i mean i have a code for a 1911. Support Pistol to unlock in BATTLELOG.... if i create a BATTLELOG account will i unlock my Type 88?
