Difficult to say,but Street Fighter 3rd strike is fuckin A,SNK has some great fighting games like King of Fighters,SAmurai Spirits,Garou: Mark of the Wolves,MK is UMK3 and MK 2011 the most i appreciate because of the gameplay,MVC2 is legit too, after 10 years top players are still discovering stuff in this game, all these are from top of my head, but there are more obscure games that are great or at least fun to play out there that people have no idea of its existence.

Mortal Kombat 2011

I loved Tekken 3 back in the day but apart from that couldn't really get into many other fighters.
I liked Street Fighter 4 but it didn't keep me interested which was also the case for Soul Calibur 4.
MK always has me coming back for more and until the latest installment MK Deception was my fave but MK2011 blew it out of the water.

MK is obviously the fave. MK9 and MKDA specifically.

I only recently bought Smash Bros Brawl and it's got me hooked :) I don't know if it's a proper fighter though 'cos it's really chaotic but loads of fun!

I like Tekken but nowhere near as much as MK. The supernatural special moves have always attracted me more than 'realism'.

Another fun one I like is Celebrity Deathmatch. simple moveset = easy to get into, therefore big entertainment value.

I remember playing a game similar to MK on the Snes called Killer Instinct. anyone know what happened to that? There was a skeleton with a shield and sword, and someone who could morph into a panther or lynx or something. I should really get the ol' snes out of hiding!
