Arena Rock and Glam Metal
Goth needs to be explained though, like what bands fall into that category?

Goth is less "dark" than thought.
Some good bands are ASP and The Sisters of Mercy.
Also, The Cult, easily the beat Goth band ever.

Final Results!
Glam Metal gives Boy-Bands no run at 4-1,
while Arena Rock stomps a mudhole in Goth's ass' 5-zip.
Round 1-FIGHT!
7. Opposites Again!
Death Metal v. "Vibe" Music
Death Metal versus the music at Woodstock...
Slayer meets Hendrix!
8. Mixture Mayhem!
Pop vs "Theme Music"
Pop music- upbeat, ans usually tells a good story.
But can any game be good without a theme?
I vote for neither in 7 and Theme Music.

I don't really count theme music as a genre since music from any genre can be used for theme music. :-\
For example you got orchestra music in SoulCalibur IV as theme music and you got rock tracks such as "Song 2" by Blur in FIFA '98: Road to World Cup. Carmageddon 2 had Iron Maiden tracks as theme music.

Faur enough,
Theme Music is now called Game Music!

But... But... That doesn't make much difference lol.
I mean, the examples I listed are not the best because FIFA98 & Carma2 used music that already existed outside the game for their soundtracks so those can go into their corresponding genres. However, there are games with original GAME MUSIC (music created specifically for the game) but even those tracks are not necessarily of the same genre. Racing games usually have very different music from say platformers or horror games etc. In the end "game music" ends up being a mixture of different genres of music. See what I mean?
Sorry if I'm annoying, it's just that it doesn't "feel right" and since I'm playing the game I just wanted to share my "concerns" lol.

I understand. It truly isn't a genre, because all genres can be it.
Honestly, game music was just a filler for this, and I love themes like anything from Final Fantasy, or Dearly Beloved (Kingdom Hearts Title Music)
