The guy could've easily made any sort of fan page, then changed the name after the attack, and hid said name-change in the settings. Are people so lax with conspiracies that they will let out hints that it was an inside job on a shitty social networking site?
Terrorists bombed a random fertilizer factory in Texas because it represents American values!*
*Not to be taken seriously. Fertilizer in high amounts can be used to create explosives, like the bomb used in Oklahoma City decades ago. A fertilizer factory explosion is possible if they don't take care of the facility well, like this one did by breaking regulations and having too much on site, as well as too much ammonia.

Apparently nothing is safe anymore. Not going to a movie, school, or running a race. *sigh* The problem with incidents like these is people always try to up the ante- a bigger body count, a more shocking location, more innocent victims. One reason is because the perpetrators get so much recognition for their crimes. I can name the shooters/bombers in a lot of the high-profile attacks since Oklahoma City, but almost none of the victims, and sadly, none of the rescue workers. If the media would focus less on the people who do these things for infamy, and more on the victims and rescue workers (who are truly amazing, amazing people), then maybe it wouldn't happen as much.

It doesn't help that the media gives these people so much time on the air, but it's also compounded with the conspiracy theorists who keep the memories alive by claiming everything that happens is faked. I can understand not trusting politicians and the US government, but nothing has has been passed since these attacks have taken place that would justify them as being government plots to take more control over the people.
Look at the Sandy Hook tragedy. People claimed that it was done to legislate stricter gun laws... But those bills were voted against by congress, despite the numerous gun-based tragedies that have taken place over the past decade. What does the government gain from having two Americans (they spent half their lives in the US, so they acclimated) attack the Boston Marathon? How does an operation featuring so many "actors" and "casualties" not get revealed as a hoax when the government has proven that nothing stays hidden in the Information Age we're living in?
Sorry about the rant, but I believe that these incidents are given more credence because the conspiracy theorists keep the perpetrators in the spotlight longer.

Considering there are people out there who still deny the Holocaust happened, I doubt those conspiracy nuts would believe in Aurora, Sandy Hook, or Boston anytime soon.

People can't keep their mouths shut about anything these days, so the probability that anyone could keep such a massive conspiracy on the DL isn't very likely.

We'd all like to believe that we don't live in a world where kindergartners get shot while learning their ABCs and how to tie their shoes, so I can understand the appeal of the conspiracy theories. It's easier than acknowledging some of the horror around us.
