Don't hate me, but I have never played any of the Pokemon games. Just watched the animé sporadically. If I had to choose though, it would be Bulbasaur. He/She/It is so adorable! :D

My fave Pokemon is Dratini, because it is so adorable too. :P

The first time I left Pallet Town, I had a Feraligatr, a Lugia, and a few others

But when I finally got Blue version two years after playing the hell out of Silver, I had a Squirtle

I never had Red or Blue. Silver, then Yellow. Chikorita was my first ever starter.

Gen. IV - Piplup
Gen. V - Oshawatt

Gen 1: Bulbasaur was my first choice, but I had pokemon red and pokemon blue, so me being a clever lad I used my sisters gameboy and restarted Red to send both Squirtle and Charmander to Blue. Bulbasaur was my first choice, but by Cerulean City I had all 3. Every other time to restart the game, I chose Charmander first.

Gen 2:: Not too sure what choice I picked here. Fairly certain it was Chikorita because I remember having a Meganium but I also remember being in love with my Quillava, . Was so many moons ago...

Gen 3: I picked Treecko, but got bored of that game so damn quickly.

Gen I - My first Pokemon game was Yellow so I got all three.

Gen II - Totodile

Gen III - Torchic

Gen IV - Piplup

Gen V - Tepig

Basically, I never choose grass.

Since everyone is listing starters from each gen, here's mine:

Gen 1: Charmander
Gen 2: Cyndaquil
Gen 3: Torchic
Gen 4: Chimchar

Yes, I've stuck with fire types through the journey, but I've never played Black and White. I'll end the streak there though because as soon as I get a chance to play it, I'm gonna choose Snivy. He looks really cool.

I always choose Charmander because I loved his badass ultimate form, Charizard . Also he was just better than Squirtle & Bulbasaur were, well to me anyways.

I always picked Cyndaquil in G/S. Never bothered to play the other gens much.

For some reason I always preferred Wartortle, Ivysaur and Charmeleon over their final evolutions. I remember having all three depending on the games though. I liked birds better so my true starter was always a Pidgey more so than any other true starter. I wish our starter would have been an Eevee...
