i went to dictionary and it suked it old me

Shini is death in Japanese, as far as I know. Bah, I haven't spoken much of the language since I was four.

You are correct, but shi also means the #4. My wife said that in her culture, Japanese see the #4 as bad luck because it means the same thing as death but has a different kanji character.

A bit more of topic, but does the name "Kenshi" then mean "iron death/four"? Just a thought that occurred to me. He is a swordsman, after all :).
