Things have been quiet lately on "Captain America: Civil War's" Atlanta set, but that hasn't stopped new rumors from emerging regarding 2016's massive Marvel movie. JoBlo has posted a new batch of updates that focus on many members of the film's large ensemble and -- if true -- reveal that "Civil War" will feature many nods to Marvel Cinematic Universe's source material.

- Black Panther will have his own mission in the film, but will be sided with Iron Man -- at least at the beginning.
- Black Panther will be able to scratch Captain America's shield thanks to his vibranium claws.
- There will be a Black Panther jet.
- Hawkeye will sport more purple and a full sleeve, similar to his comic counterpart.
- Ant-Man will get a modern costume and also grow into the role of Giant-Man; we'll also see Scott Lang riding on one of Hawkeye's arrows.
- War Machine wil wear a more tank-like suit of armor.
- Falcon's suit will have grappling hooks and wrist lasers built in.
- Falcon's bird sidekick Redwing will get an MCU counterpart in the form of a red, birdlike drone.
- Captain America will finally add chainmail to his costume.
Those are some pretty wild rumors! I want to believe!

- RUMOR: "Captain America: Civil War" Sides Revealed [SPOILERS]
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
According to HH's source, Captain America will be fighting alongside Hawkeye, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man and the Winter Soldier. Iron Man, meanwhile, will count the Vision, Spider-Man, Black Widow and War Machine on his side. Black Panther is absent from both lists as it's already been made clear by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige that he will play a neutral role in "Civil War."
Some of this information lines up with what has already been revealed. From the post-credits scene in "Ant-Man," we already know that Falcon and Ant-Man are on Cap's side and that they have Winter Soldier in custody. Jeremy Renner was spotted just a few weeks ago wearing a "Team Captain America" hat, which looks like may have actually been accurate.
Iron Man's team is more surprising. Vision, Black Widow and War Machine were all part of Cap's new Avengers squad at the end of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," so this implies that they've all turned against him. Black Widow's inclusion on the team is even more surprising considering how closely she worked with Steve Rogers in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

Nice to see some more purple. Could've gone for a mask, but I dunno if his head could handle it.

- The actor playing Baron Zemo in the next 'Captain America' movie says he won't be wearing the villain's infamous purple mask
While promoting his next movie, "Burnt," starring opposite Bradley Cooper (in theaters October 30), Brühl told Business Insider that Zemo will be without one of his trademark looks.
"He does not wear the mask," he said, referring to the purple cloak the character is famous for wearing after a vat of powerful adhesive, known as Adhesive X, spilled all over him during a fight with Captain America, preventing Zemo from ever removing it.
"You would be surprised, it's different than what you'd think," said Brühl, talking about the Zemo character we see in "Civil War." "It's loosely connected to this character. But that's what I like about the Marvel guys, some of the characters and things they're dealing with always reference to current events so my character is from a different area than you would think."
Boooooooooo! Hisssssss!

Captain America Civil War - Official trailer #2
And first official look at Underoos aka Spiderman!!
I'm a little torn. Spidey's costume is a clear throwback to his first appearance and the animated series, but at the same time, I feel like the costume overall looks flat and doesn't really jive well with rest of the MCU costumes. I would have been happy sticking with the Amazing Spiderman #2 costume.
Still, his only line in the trailer, the actor sounds more fitting for the roll than Toby McGuire and Garfield.
Can't wait!!

The only thing I don't like about the Spider-man costume is the random blue sports stripes. Why go to the trouble of doing a pretty faithful costume -- complete with emoting eyes -- and then add that random crap to it? Does somebody get to feel like they did their job by adding that?
I wanna know what Black Panther's angle is, too. Why is he pro-registration? Why does he even care? I think it's a swerve.
Edit: Also find it interesting that we still haven't really had a whiff of the Baron Zemo side of things. You don't really need it. Hero v Hero, Black Panther & Spider-man are more than enough to sell this thing to blockbuster proportions. Very interested where Zemo fits in, though. There was also talk of inspirations from 50s Psycho Cap early in the piece. Will Civil War facilitate a new establishment picked Captain America, or will that just be tonal influence?

So from my understanding, the complaint about the suit looking flat, only seems to apply when viewing the trailer on mobile (something to do with the codex or encoder, etc).
Took a screen caps from my PC and the suit looks better:
Also in this frame, you can clearly see Spiderman's webslinger:

- Captain America: Civil War - The Team Vs Bucky clip [YouTube]
Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
The movie stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Frank Grillo, Tom Holland, with William Hurt and Daniel Brühl. Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” is directed by Anthony & Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Nate Moore and Stan Lee serve as executive producers and the screenplay is by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.
You don't run from T'Challa that easy, pal.

Boy, oh boy.The Black Panther. Wow. I'm so hyped for his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His costume looks awesome from what I've seen in trailers and TV spots to date. I wonder why he is on Tony Stark's side in this Civil War, but I will watch the movie when it comes out like the rest of us and figure it out then.
Spider-Man, boy oh boy, he look awesome if you ask me. So stoked!
