Are all those band's christian bands? Or does the label affect non-christian specific bands?

I know Soul Embraced and Underoath (or was it Unearth? Either way, I know both), I had no idea they were considered "Christian hardcore/metalcore" though.
You know what I find really ironic? Christian black metal. What a joke that is... There's a band called 7 Angels, 7 Plagues who are Christian black metal from memory... They might be Christian death, I looked them up years ago, can't really remember.
Anyways, I'm on 56K so I'll be waiting for a bit... I'll get back to this later.
Edit - Oh, Haste The Day are Christian hardcore? I missed that... I got into them recently, I hate 95% of all hardcore I hear but this band is pretty damned good. The singing line in "Substance" always gets stuck in my head.

OK, downloaded the "The New In Bloom" song... Well, besides sounding like pretty much every other hardcore band I've heard, they aren't bad. The drummer sounds like the strong point of the band, to me. Some of the guitar and bass wasn't all that clean, but as a musician myself I know how easy it is to lose concentration for a moment and play a note a bit sloppy. Although what they play is reasonably straight forward, stuff ups can be expected anyways.
My only real complaint is the vocals. The deathish growls are pretty weak and lack depth, and he sounds like he's royaly fucking his throat up at some points. Growls should come from the stomach, if he keeps abusing his throat like that he wont be doing vocals for much more than the next 5 or so years. Not trying to bag him, I just hate seeing people screw their voice through average technique. He obviously has the voice for it, he just needs to train it up a bit. If they're biggish in the local scene it may pay off for him to get a few lessons off somebody who has been growling for a long time and knows their stuff. Like I said, I'm just concerned for his own well being, not trying to bag him.
The clean vocals are out of key, however most hardcore bands sing out of key and nobody seems to care, I guess it's accepted in the genre. Kind of why I like Haste The Day, hearing a hardcore vocalist with a pleasant singing voice who is perfectly in key is a nice change. Like anything in music though, practice makes perfect. The lead singer for my band used to struggle with his growls and certain aspects of his clean vocals, here we are a year later and the bastard sounds better than almost any singer I can think of (and that's without me being biased, it's just that he practiced hours a day and it payed off).
Anyways dude, overall I can tell they have the right idea. A few more years of practice and maybe vocal lessons would serve the band well. If they played cleanly and the singer was in key, I'd be telling you they're a really good hardcore band. Since they don't though, I'll leave it at this - The idea is there, the sound is there, the feeling is there, it's just the technique that needs a bit of work. All in all, I've heard much, much, much worse
