I haven't seen the movie, but Have ya played the game? it totally kicks @$$.

Yes. I was mildly dissapointed aswell. Judging from the trailers I thought the film would have been a crazy sci-fi epic. But it turned out to be a messy action blockbuster. Not to say it didn't have it's moments. Because it had ALOT of great ones. There was, however, ALOT of corny lines and predictible scenes but the ending entirely changed my preception of the film. Wich was a good thing because I wasn't very into it until the last 30 minutes or so. So in conclusion, It was an above avrage film due to it's many cool and original moments but still lacked something that would have pushed it up a notch. 7/10 for me.

Also I was very pissed they cut out my favourite line from the trailer. Well two actually. The one where the little girl asks him if he'll stop the monsters he's supposed to say "I am the monster" but they cut it. Aswell as (my personal fav) the head Necromonger saying "All those poets who spoke of war as such an unsightly thing....never stood here.". Wich I thought to be an amazing line. DVD purchase worthy though. Especially if it has alot of special features.

I personally enjoyed the movie, I was upset with the cut out line "i am the moster" but what can we do. The movie had plenty of action, which i need, I pictured the ending a little differently, with him taking over power and shit, that caught me a little of off guard.
