And at last i put a modchip to my PS2 and ater a year it was fucked up. I learnt my lesson so i hope to have better luck and care with my consoles.sad

hm, might of been with one of my sega genesis', i use to have them on this table (i only had two... at seprate times of course, im talking about my first), well, my fat fucking brother was talkign to me, while i was playing the greatest game at the time: jaged, and then he... well it was a folding table, lean on it, and broke the fucking table and smashed it to bits.

then he weighed about 250 lbs, now he weighes a good 510 lbs or so.

completely destroyed the system... WHILE I WORKED ALL FUCKING DAY ON GETTING SO HIGH! I WAS ON THE LEVEL WHERE I HAD TO FIGHT THIS SKULL THAT HAD WORMS COMING OUT OF ITS MOUTH!!!

odd though... when i got my new genesis, i kept the old copy of jaged, and i played it, it worked fine, it was just my brothers fat ass that destroyed the system.

Sucker.

Well, I guess I shouldn't talk...I bought a Sega CD and a 32X. That's right, both of 'em.

I've never really had a console blow up on me though, or catch fire, or jump off the dresser and attack me, I guess I've been pretty look as far as avoiding lemons goes. My PSX did broke on me though, and only a couple of weeks after the warranty expired...highway bandits I tell you...

Accidentally ripping out three pegs from the Sega Genesis controller port. The holes in which the pegs get inserted must have been too tight and when I unplugged my controller it took some of the pegs with it. It was impossible to fix, so it went to the trash.

Other than that, I'm on my second PS2 due to the infamous Disk Read Error.

This is a BIT off-topic, but I had a similar experience. Speaking of buying things few people owned...

I was one of a HANDFUL of people in my country that was a proud owner of a Mini-Disc system. Honestly, I LOVE the format and I prefer it a gazillion times more than CD-R and/or CD-RW. Too bad it was too expensive and wasn't supported well by Sony and the other (few) companies who got involved.

Anyways, after having it for a year or two, it broke down on me. I sent it in for repairs and it came back with a one year warranty. I am NOT bullshitting ya'll when I tell you that it stopped working exactly the VERY DAY my warranty expired.

Assholes furious

umm... well I got this powder stuff into my gamecube and it broke like 2 months later.... my dog bit the cables in my controllers... whats he gonna do about my wavebirds... NOTHING!

my PS2 broke twice... once whilst playing SOCOM bastardly PS2...

I had bought an Xbox when it had come out but had to return it when I called microsoft about no display... the second one had "no connection" WTF?? anybody else? and the third one I bought during that tetris worlds offer and Xbox live killed my interest with UT championship I just couldn't get into it... so i returned it, I think I'll buy one when it's like 80 bucks after seeing the wonder my friends can do with 'em can you say No pay to play??

Mine has to be getting a Atari Jaguar, the only decent games for it was Alien vs Predator and Tempest 2000, the joypad was weird, i have no idea what i was thinking of then.

Oh yes, I've done quite some damage to my controllers over the years. Mostly playing Tony Hawk games or something where you have to nail a combo perfectly or you're fucked. Sorry to both of my PS2 controllers, my Gamecube Wavebird, and my N64 controller. There's probably more but I don't remember.

If you consider GameBoy in this discussion, then yes. When I was in 6th grade, I left it on the school bus and I never saw it again. sad

Never had any real damage to a console itself, but a couple of my SNES controllers got fucked up. On one, the B and Start button barely work; on another, the Y button barely worked. I think it just happened with wear and tear.
